How quickly Mario has turned the prey to predator is amazing. The SEC schools don’t want to see a Canes hat on the commitment table. Mario is going after them nationally without depending on South Florida kids. Now the SEC schools must pull double duty protecting their turfs from Miami while trying to recruit South Florida at the same time. This takes more time, effort and resources and spreads them thin. As they say, the best defense is offense.
