The President narrowly loses the Butkus

Am I the only one here who thinks that Perryman could've done better this season? I know the playcalling wasn't there, but the guy is a beast no matter what. I just feel like he could've performed at an even higher level

If he had a better supporting cast around him? Yes, despite that. He's a stud. We were fortunate to have him, he will be playing for a long time on Sundays as long as he stays healthy.

We were very fortunate to have him. I'm glad he's going pro and I sure as **** hope Duke does also. They've both done all they needed to do for our program and it's time for them to make that $$$. The reason I say that is because I'm already expecting to see him blow up in the NFL to a level we havent seen before, similarly to various players in the past few years who underperform ( relative to their full potential) and then excel in the Pros

not much he can do when he's lined up 15 yards behind the ball.

The bigger bullshat will be when O'Leary wins the Mackey over Walford.

I swear I'll lose it again just like the all-acc team selection. Oh boy.

O'Leary- Less yards, less TD's, one additional game, Heisman winner throwing you the ball

Walford- More yards, More TD's, one less game, true Freshman throwing you the ball

Seems legit...

The DTs that were "protecting" Perryman were Hertelou, Pierre and Jenkins...so I think Perryman deserves all the accolades coming his way.

Perryman is a hardnose oldschool Linebacker! He's definitely a talent, but his Kryptonite is in man coverage, and at times, his height causes him to miss plays, by not being able to see the RB, while being covered up by a pulling OL...

Should have a decent career, but don't expect him to be a sideline to sideline guy in the NFL.

He'll excel in the Tackle Box though.

He can get to the sidelines with the best of them. He will have a Beason like career.

He sure could not be found against Nebraska, GT and others......Did he play those games?

DP is a player. Folden's vanilla system doesn't allow players to be constant playmakers.

said it before i could

I cant even imagine the stats he would have had if bud foster was our defensive coordinator.

The staff shafted him on the butkus against georgia tech and nebraska. Having him play 10 yards off the ball against those teams was just heartbreaking to watch.

But thank goodness for him he doesnt have to listen to donofrio scream another useless word.

for whatever reason he disappeared in big games adn made alot of mental errors in those games. He had a great season though. the emergence of Grace and Kirby(sometimes) gave him a decent supporting cast. but our Dline is terrible so he didnt look as good as he could have been.

Especially in a 2-gap system that is supposed to keep offensive lineman getting to the second level. Shoot against Nebraska offensive lineman were flying to the second level and Perryman was also getting lost in the wash.

He will be a terrific pro.
