The posts blaming Mario and Dawson suck….

When your team is the most talented in the conference, but can't even make the conference title game, whos fault is that? 2 years in a row we crapped the bed by losing to inferior teams. We have WAY better players than Louisville and SMU. We paid our QB 4 million. Our coach is the problem.

It’s what happens when you play with your food and find out. We have nobody to blame but ourselves.
I’m saying like the CFB landscape in general. Fighting tooth and nail for a playoff spot. I bet Utah fans feel like **** after an awesome come from behind win. I miss the divisions in conferences lol

Great win on the road but the overall playcalling drastically changed in the 2nd half. Far more condensed. Far more running to short side or running plays to the short side. The typical Mario cristobal refusal to put our athletes in plus situations in space was on full display after touchdown #1 in 2nd half.

We have witnessed it all year. It has hurt us all year in games that should have been blowouts… which none have been, today was no different.

I say all that to say winning a game in November on the road by 17 is a blessing. But should have and could have been more if the 1st half offensive mindset carried over all 4 quarters
Not mario just Dawson being Dawson and because Mario brings nothing to the table philosophically he cant help matters. When your head coach brings nothing to the table on gameday its a automatic disadvantage in this day and age.

I disagree with it being Dawson

A game we were COMPLETELY in control of became a 10 point game with them driving to cut it to a one score game. THIS IS A PATTERN. Can anyone deny that? Saying we 'won 34-17', against an opponent who sucks, - after a garbage time TD from a long pass ON 4th DOWN with about :30 left...is a bit misleading.

Pace of play my man we should be going up tempo getting more plays off having more possessions. It’s a joke.
It’s such ****** strategy. I don’t know how you can defend it.

Needs to protect insider status.

We have young bucks on O that are beastly. Use them by getting as many reps as you can till you break the opponents will. Those turkeys today thought they had a chance till the very end. Speaking of, how stupid would the OP argument be if Beck or Toney had gotten hurt trying to score a late TD instead of being on the sidelines cheering on the backups? GTFOH.

We should’ve had the opportunity to get the Young bucks in if we would’ve taken care of business and run more plays the first quarters
We play a slow paced game that allows the game to be shrunk so there aren’t enough possessions for us to stretch out leads. It’s a stupid way to play when you’re a heavy favorite.

Meathead does not comprehend that

Excellent post and spot on! Why we continue to run plays out of bunch formations on 3rd & short is crazy to me.

A lot of out shape, heavy wife, dead end job, in debt drunks aren't going to like your post
My wife is not heavy, but everything else is accurate. Should I put my paycheck on the titans tomorrow? I’m a little short on the rent this month because Mario didn’t cover today

How 'bout 13-7 mid/late 3rd after clearly being better than UF? Or holding on v ND? Or the finish v SMU? Yeah, 9-2 is great, and something to be thankful for. But will we ever get over the top with this approach?
No, especially since we consistently play sloppy penalty riddled games. 25% of our drives stalled out today because of penalties. Against a decent team with a avg to above avg defense that means we have 6 possessions to score. Factor in 2-3 stops and now we’re struggling to score 20-25 points (LVille & SMU this year, GT last year).
