Why did we celebrate and get so emotional about winning a playoff game?

It was a great win. It's been an amazing season. But Mario's next building block for the team is installing the "Mamba Mentality." The standard is not that we made the CFP. That we won a game and should be happy. We should expect to be there and expect to win.

- Reporter: You're up 2-0 are you not happy? Kobe Bryant: What's there to be happy about? Job finished? I dont think so.

- Lavonte David recounted a story where Tom Brady yelled, "What the f**k you crying for? We're not done yet," not at David himself, but at an unnamed Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate who was crying tears of joy after their NFC Championship win in January 2021.

Maybe because it was the best win in over two decades?

Maybe because it symbolized that we finally crawled our way out of the darkness?

Maybe because the players and coaches worked so hard and deserved that moment?

Football is supposed to be fun. Let them enjoy it. I know Mario upheld the 24 hour and the team is now locked in on OSU.

Because the teams been **** for 2 decades and it's the biggest program win since 02. Go get ya **** wet you sad *******.

I’ll be at every game and celebrate every win like I won the lottery.

Also from a coach, whose mantra is “let’s get back to work” I wouldn’t be so concerned.

Haven't you ever played a game where you played your *** off. Had to focus for every minute because every move was incredibly important to the other? Ever feel the sheer exhaustion of that game, let alone find a way to win? How can you dribble this bs?
