The polls

The only possible undefeated teams are us, TCU and one team from SEC and maybe one from B10. We win, we're in.

If ND, VT and whoever we play in the ACCCG win every other game on their schedule. If Bama and UGA have 1 only in the $eccg then us not looking good could hurt us. Plus you got Ped State and Wisconsin maybe Ohio Tant with 1. We could get ****ed

There's just no way they'd leave out an undefeated P5 team with conference championship to let a team in for a rematch of a game already played. Just won't happen.

I don't know. They have been trying to get two $ec teams in for the past few years. If UGA or Bama stay undefeated till their championship game and you got undefeated TCU (losing now), Wis or Ped State there our close games against "bad teams" could be a what keeps us out.

Acc is the focus this year , that's the realistic goal. Go from there

Eyes on the prize. I don't know why people are hoping for us to luck our way into the playoffs after today. I want a Coastal Win for the first time in history. F the rankings. Winning out will cure all, but I'm sorry if I'm a bit skeptical on winning out. We need to give VT everything we got. If we can't convert on 3rd down, how is VT going to treat us?

No way. In that scenario, the first game would be a rematch of Alabama and Georgia. No way they'd do that with another undefeated P5 team sitting right there.

I actually hope we drop in the polls. This team needs something to **** em off.

We could be home underdogs on Saturday. That's always been a great thing for us.

If we lose a game they will ***** us even if they have to pick a 2 or 3 loss SEC or B10 team, but if we win out, we are in period. This is THE U we are talking about. TV $$$ people would shoot the committee before they let them keep the rating monster out of the playoffs if it is undefeated. Worse case is Undefeated PSU or WI, a undefeated Bama or UGA, undefeated TCU and undefeated U. That is 4 undefeated and the playoff teams. If they are going to ***** someone it will be TCU. The 12 tv viewers they bring to the ratings just will not matter. If we win, we are in.

Whats going on with TCU game? In Boynton Beach and the stupid weather man is on talking about tornado warnings

The Democrats and Republicans still think Trump will never be President too. If THE U goes undefeated, the $$$$ people will cough from the back of the room that last day and quietly throw up THE U. College football wants us dead but the people selling TV ads the those counting the money from them want us very much alive.

Doesn't mean anything. Miami still has a top 15, and two top 10 teams left on the schedule. Miami wins out, they're a guaranteed a playoff spot, period.

They'll keep PSU above us I think. Also may jump us with ND. That game today was ugly. Doesn't matter though. Our conference season comes down to the next game and our overall season comes down to the next two games

Man fck the polls. This isn't a dominant team, we all know that. But if we keep winning we'll earn our place at the top, no matter what the polls say. This is the time of year when people freak out like there will be 5 undefeated teams or some sht. History says there will be 2 or fewer undefeated teams at the end of the season, so if we're one we'll be fine. And as long as we win the coastal we will have succeeded for this year (that's not to say I won't be disappointed). I expect greatness next year, but honestly 1 loss and winning the Coastal is a great achievement for this year.

This is why I don't get the "concern".

Who is "they"? There hasn't been a second SEC team to even be in consideration for a playoff spot.
