Can't disagree with his thoughts on the game. Whether we're back and to what level, not sure - but encouraged by the effort and the young talent, especially on offense.
 
No. For almost 20 years we have had a game or two that shows the immediate (this year-next yearish) future is bright. Only to be let down again and again. Watch this UF team finishes 7-6...
 
I FEEL THE SAME WAY!! WITH ALL THAT WENT WRONG WE STILL SHOULD HAVE WON THE GAME! EVEN MY NON CANE FRAT BROS WERE EVEN SAYING WE GAVE THE GAME AWAY. THEY EVEN FELT WE GOT PHUCKED WHEN THE REF PICKED UP THE PASS INTERFERENCE IN THE END ZONE AT GAME END. WE COMING STRONG AS **** THIS SEASON!
 
8 months ago we didn't think we stood a chance and we took the lead three separate times.

I'll give it time, but I'm a lot more optimistic than I have been since 2003.

It's how I felt at the end of the game as well. Only way to evaluate this program at this point is one game at a time. We need to see it play out/pan out, but for now, I feel good about the direction.

Name me a game since Dorsey when you said "Wow we might have found our next great QB".

He's staying with the team, so I am....Our fans need to learn to handle adversity and fight through it
 
Our OL leaked like a sieve.

UF was in the backfield all game.

I thought Williams would've carved up Franks head-to-head, but I think Franks outperformed him - and I have a low opinion of the UF QB.

It's puzzling that our OL has been so consistently poor for so long.

Not all the pressure came from the edges where the young OTs are.

Hope we can fix it - against quality opponents.

I hate to disagree (because really I don’t), but early in his career Kyle Wright had a few “gritty” games similar to Williams where he took lots of sacks, made some good throws over the middle and we were encouraged. Then Jacory had a few good games including against FSU that gave us hope. But both ultimately regressed. I hope history isn’t Repeating itself.
 
If you are a Cane, there is nowhere to go. Like Mike I see some promise but then again gator might just suck bad. Either way, been Cane since my birth and will die one regardless of anything. The last 16 years been bad but not as band as the time from The Stork to Kelly. Those were no hope or history years. Now we KNOW what we have been and can be again.

I got lot of family who are big Bama people. Should have heard them cry after The Bear until they finally won one more title against us. Then again from then until Satan came up from ****. My dad was all Bama all the time; it was all I heard going up, but I would never, never trade the glory we had for even Bama history and there is none better -- EXCEPT THE CANES HOLD THAT RIP record that was once theirs but is now ours.

If you did not experience the 80's and 90's it is hard to understand just how great it was. If you did suffer through what preceded those year you will never understand how unbelievable it was. We destroyed dynasties and conferences that had laughed and humiliated us. We won our titles among the titans of college football with many in their our glory years -- NE - greatest team in history, OU loses 3 games in 3 years and all of them to us, ND need to cheat to get one and then paying for it the next year in the OB, UT -- take our one year of Vince Young and they were never seen again after that Cotton Bowl Game, Penn St - they got us in the horror game but we cost them two or three titles too. Did you Arkansas used to be title contender? Not after JJ and the Miami boys got done with them. LSU, you might remember that they crushed us at out bottom but it was us that erased them from history bboks until Satan stop over there. And then there were those poor Noles who beat the crap out of everyone else only to lose year after year after year : "But he play Miami".

My friends, there is nothing better than be a Miami Hurricane.

Kyle Wright 2005. Remember after that FSU loss the entire country was saying we lost the game but we found our QB. Our OL was suspect giving up record sacks to FSU but Kyle stood in there and showed why he was a top recruit.

Robert Marve and Jacory.... Did you not watch 08 when we clearly had the great future at QB despite the team? Or 09 when Whipple ball first came out and Jacory looked like a Heisman candidate.

Heck Mac Brown (calling the Duke game in 17) said Malik looked like a top QB.

Remember after Morris almost led that comeback off the bench against UVA? Remember the 2012 season with Morris?

Do you remember Brad Kaaya?

Forget the last 20 years. Did you watch the canes the last 5?
