Idgaf what you say they deserve better than this. The deserve a coach who leads but accepts his own shortcomings. They deserve a coach who plays the best players which give the team the best chance to win. They deserve a coach who does his job. They deserve accountability. How can you hold players accountable when you do not hold yourself accountable until it's a 911 fire.
The difference between richt and Brian kelly or the young guy from Oklahoma is quite simple. Loyalty never goes above results aka winning.
Part of me feels sorry for richt. He is in over his head. Out of touch. Lost. Then part of me says why did he take the job to begin with. Why does he employ sub par coaches? Why does he refuse change? It is all on him to be cliche. It is his fault. It is his doing. You can hire any coach you want at this point but unless richt changes it is worth nothing. And that in and of itself is why this ending to the worst season ever is so upsetting. Yes, coming off of 10 wins and with highly rated QB recruits we failed to improve and regressed back to our security blanket QB to eek out wins. It failed horribly.
Next year richt will be in the NFL but for him it stands for not for long...
