The phrase "done deal" re: this board

Hey all - there are legit folks on this board with legit sources and we all know this.
That said, I figure as far as any leaked hiring info goes, it sounds like "done" in this case is a synonym for (at best) "reached an agreement in principle but nothing is signed." For the sake of all of our sanities, can we all assume from now on that when a poster says or hears "it's done" that that's what "done" really means, so we can keep the silly call-out threads to a minimum? Posters with info, keep posting. Posters with no info, please reference the above synonym so as not to look like a jackass when negotiations change every hour. Thank you.

And yes I realize this is a call-out thread calling out the call-out threads. Deal with that too lol.

Funny, but necessary (unfortunately). Guys share info. Take that into with a grain of salt and you'll be fine. It's crazy to think so many are on here just to point fingers and laugh at those who come here with real info just because situations change or the original source gave premature info.

That being said, news out of UNC on the day the story originally broke was that Fedora really wanted to come to Miami. That **** changed. That's no one's fault. It's just how things work. **** changes.
 
Canesinsight is the only source that made the claim Applewhite was going to be named Miami’s OC.
If things would have played out without that statement (because staff members get legit info sometimes) we would all be none the wiser.

Now what about recruiting? I can still assume whatever positive information I read here is 100% guaranteed to be correct right?
