the over reaction of CI fans

I’m overreacting I knew there would be growing pains with a 1st time head coach, new offense, freshman QB and LT, new starters in the secondary and dline, but **** seeing these 2 games we should’ve won it just feels like the same ol same ol. But I’ll let this play out a 9-3 season and I’ll be excited again.

We lost our first two games by 3 points each and should have won both. This team could easily be 2-0.

Lets let the rest of the season play out.

and watch Miami lose more games.

probably a 4-6 loss season based on first two disasters...

im guessing closer to 6...

You got it backwards Chief.

Didn’t we lose to UF by 4 points or are we now revising history to make ourselves feel better? (I know a 24 to 23 loss would sting a little less, but it’s still a fricking L). One thing to be thankful for is the rest of our schedule this year. Thank you, ACC Coastal.
Our fans can’t read or count. Also they don’t know their history. They think Gengis Khan fought Captain Kirk.

we are 0 -2 & deserve it based on play and coaching. stop fooling yourself. we are not a good football team. until they prove me wrong we don't win a game in the ACC this year.

Then you have the lurkers who are waiting on the team to struggle to flood the board with their BS in the guise of "rational thought". These are the "lazy hire" posters who disappeared when we made moves in the offseason, now are back to reclaim their throne.
Once on the Throne do I get fed Grapes and Wine while being fanned or Nah??

The first problem is assuming that these infidels are Miami Fans. The troll marathon will fade as the season continues.
This is their last chance at a little lime.

1st year HC

1st year starting QB

1st year offensive staff

1 neutral site game and 1 away game.

This wasn’t completely out of the blue.

Would have, obviously, preferred 1-1 or 2-0. But I always thought 8-4 would be a reasonable expectation for the season.

So, finishing 8-2 or better will meet/exceed expectations.

The fans expecting a Coastal title and 10-12 wins in year one are the crazy folks. No way that was going to happen.

What is this “we should have won both” bs I keep reading?

With all the penalties, mistakes, missed assignments, dropped balls, missed fgs, poor 4th down calls...

Why should we have won? Because at one point we were winning in the game?
I don’t feel like we SHOULD have won either. ****, UF probably should have beaten us by double digits.

Fans just expect the coaches to prepare our guys. You think we were prepared for UNC?

Our staff looked so outmatched. That’s the disheartening part.

I get your point on that about the D, because there is continuity on that side of the ball.

But the O is a work in progress. I think they will figure it out. Just need more time and reps.

I hear what you're saying, but also the Coastal is basically a joke, so it should be a cake walk for any big program.

Wow what losing has done to this program and some of its fans. Mediocrity is acceptable in some people’s minds when it comes to Miami football now.

This is the point everybody is making one way or the other. They are in the same situation as us, with less talent and look better

7-5 average record going back 15 years so this is just more of the same for Miami's younger fans. They don't have the same standards as those who can remember when we were actually good.
