Committed Athletes at The Opening: Athlete Christopher Henderson

Targets in Attendance

The Hurricanes continue to focus on Florida receivers Trevon Grimes and Jerry Jeudy, who are rated No. 4 and No. 7, respectively, among prospects at the position in composite rankings. Miami fans should also keep a close eye on American Heritage High School (Fort Lauderdale) teammates Marco Wilson (cornerback), Kai-Leon Herbert (offensive lineman) and underclassman invitee Patrick Surtain Jr. (cornerback).

Beyond state borders, all-purpose Maryland back Anthony McFarland Jr. continues to maintain a quality relationship with members of the Hurricanes staff who previously pursued him on behalf of the Georgia Bulldogs. Meanwhile, Oklahoma Sooners cornerback commit Trajan Bandy is a candidate to flip into Miami's recruiting class before national signing day, and USC running back pledge Stephen Carr remains a priority.

Where do we sit with Carr? I had forgotten about him.

Solid to USC, we're still recruiting hard though. If something happens there this season that forces him to decommit I would actually favor us over Michigan

Nah. Bartow said he think he sticks with usc and if he does flip it will be to ucla. Said he is a long shot for miami.

told ya'll Carr being pulled here would be the most epic pull in Canes history. The IE part of Cali is all Trojan territory when you're good. I've had way too many boys put on that Trojan jersey from out that way. USC dominates the IE, South Central, Long Beach, and Gardena. I would love Carr to come, but I HIGHLY doubt he comes here.

The main reason I doubt he flips has nothing at all to do with the area he's from & everything to do with the kids (i.e. certain parents)he trains with. Anyone in the know out there will tell you all about what Keyshawn Johnson is doing with all the high ranking kids from out there through his son & certain agents. He's just fuelling kids through his fake relationships wherever he wants them.

Now watch Bama throw everything they got at him...

Need to keep this kid, and land other players with elite speed.

Need to try to land at least one out of Juedy, Smith or Marco Wilson.

#Miami commit, 4-star ATH Christopher Henderson just ran 4.34 40 yd dash at @TheOpening Finals. Christopher Henderson, Christopher Columbus HS ATH - Scout … @scoutrecruiting

Starting to feel this kid's money position in college may be RB where he feels most comfortable. 6'1 175-180ish is not a small size for an incoming college RB either. His speed on offense would give us a dangerous weapon we need bad. I like this kid on offense a lot better.

How about we just take all 3.....
