The Opening Miami: Test Results

American Heritage is beyond loaded. 5-7 years ago you had AMHS, Chaminade, Cypress, U school, Heritage, Miramar, STA, etc. all with great rosters and d1 players. Now we've seen a switch to really just STA and Heritage being extremely loaded. Creek and Flanagan are stocking up on some talent in Broward too. Not a fan of the new landscape. I would rather the talent be more spread out than having Power 5 D1 guys not even playing because they feel the only way they can get recognized is at one of these big schools. However, if the individual feels that's the best move for their education and path to college football I can't blame them.

With certain schools on the list (AMHS, Chaminade, Miramar, U school) the changes are a result of an administrative issue more so than any other factors but nevertheless high school football in Broward was more enjoyable back then IMO

Impresses me the most is that Robert Burns weighed in at 206 and ran a 4.57. He's got some good weight on him and can still scoot which is nice to see. Brian Burns' numbers don't even surprise me because he is a freak. Really big fan of Nick Eubanks as well, He's one of the most intriguing recruits offensively in this cycle because he's versatile in the passing game.

I wonder if Mayfield receives an offer

He has visited before. I'm very meh on him as a receiver and he doesn't have much tape as a DB.

Not always are guys who test well are the best players either.

Joshua Uche. Wow.

4.59 40 at 6'1 1/2", 210 pounds. Impressive athlete in his highlights, too. This is the type of undersized, explosive LB a quality coach at UM could find plenty of use for. And he's exactly the type of local product the staff should be taking a hard look at instead of extending the first FBS offer to a Delaware recruit of similar size.

Totally agree, this is a true sleeper, I tried to warn you guys about him. A good coach would know how to utilize his speed and have him play sideline to sideline. Also with him being a DE now I'm not worried about him being undersized and taking on blocks from the LB cause he'll already be use to it but just doing it differently from the LB position. My thing is, you look at the new FSU commit from south dades Highlight film, he also played DE and is now excelling at LB. Not all DEs can make that transition but if you ask me Uche will be better than Tyree and he already looks better than him when tyree was at this same stage.
