Highlights The Opening Finals; June 24th to June 26th

6. . CB Donte Wright – Miami commit

“Wright was our MVP on Thursday and he continued where he left off this morning with an acrobatic interception that he almost returned for a touchdown. Unfortunately, Wright missed two games due to back spasms but, when he was on the field, he was absolutely one of the top prospects out there. He has a high motor, competes at a high level and he’s everything you want in a cover corner.” – Greg Biggins

7. WR Eli Woodard

“Woodard made every clutch catch for his team this week. He is one of the two or three most polished receivers out here in terms of hands and route running. Whenever his team needed a conversion or a touchdown, Woodard was there. He is one of the more ready-to-play-now receiver prospects in the class. A lot of these guys need some time to kind of refine their game, but I think Woodard can go into college and play early wherever he’s at. He keeps getting better.” – Greg Biggins

💯
Kid works his *** off
It’s football 24/7 for him

My *****……….the #1 cornerback in the country ain’t even in the frame for 2nd half of the rep.

Our WR core about to be on whole other level ….. and their greatness will speed up the development of our inexperienced DB room next season. The early enrollees are going to get some good reps in against the real 1s going to the league this winter
IMO at least 2 of our top 4 CBs will return next year. And unfortunately, some of them will miss a couple of games with lower extremity injuries.
And the young guys will get more PT as we blow teams out. Seatbelt already has playing time VS the best of the best in prime time and will be in his third year in this system at that point. Our Receivers are the best they will see and they get to go against them on the daily. I ain’t worried

I think your are confusing Ja’Boree for Seatbelt here.

It’s hard for me to envision a scenario where we are a winning playoff team back to back years that returns OJ Frédérique.

Damari Brown was actually the only of our returning cornerbacks to receive all-conference honors (Honorable mention which is the same accolade received by Posyner and Omar Thorton) last year yet he is never discussed in a highly regarded manner imo. People talk like he missed the whole year last year. His pedigree and tape will make him highly coveted, and being in his fourth year rather than his third, makes him a prime candidate to be an early entrant into the NFL Draft.

Plus, heritage teammates Lucas and Fletcher (only member of the ‘23 class left alongside him, Carver and Samson) also going to the league could push him in that direction.

Frédérique has the highest stock amongst the three. The staff’s signals and recruiting suggests all three will be gone. If Lucas and Brown return, we could have an exodus of 2-3 CBs.

I believe O’Connor will likely return for his redshirt senior year. Slime (not true freshman Seatbelt) will play a lot. .. . .. so much so that O’Connor may transfer if he gets cut out of the rotation; i consider this highly unlikely though even if Slime takes a star turn.

Lucas and OJ likely gone, but Brown and OJ have to prove they can stay healthy for a whole year. Brown only played half the season. Played in 9 of the 16 games, but barely played in two of the 9 due to the injuries. Played two games the previous year. The best ability is availability. We are likely to see 2 and 24 line up at corner in 2027. The days of guys leaving early to go in the 7th round are less frequent now that they can get paid millions to return

Brown played in twelve games during the regular season last year. Brown isn’t going to be a seventh round pick. OJ played in 7 games during the regular season.

Yes both of them need to stay healthy. If Brown receives all-conference honors again he is likely gone imo.

He may have played some, but he didn’t make it through all those games.

Donte Wright with the lockdown route stoppage.

That kid is so gifted.

Also, Easton Royal & Bunny Easter were getting fuxkin busy. Absolutely dusted whoever was covering them by 3-4 strides.

Jackson Parker got fuxkin SMOKED!

Might need to switch to LB my boy.
