At this point, the only thing Richt could say to temper down the toxicity is to announce that there will be major staff changes at the end of the season. He would also need to announce that N'Kosi or Jarren will be starting for the rest of the year. Unfortunately, I have no faith that he'll do that. He's probably hoping we can finish 8-4 or 9-3, compete in a bowl, and then say we're showing "progress."
I never thought we'd get to the point that we're at now. I believed this Al Golden-Esque crap was behind us. At this point, the season is lost. Not much left to play for other than to hopefully go to a half decent bowl game. Objectively speaking though, we're likely to go 6-6 or 7-5. The team looks like its given up, and we don't have the offense to stay in any game where we're down by 10+. After the Louisville bowl loss in 2013, I knew Golden would never do it. I have that exact same feeling tonight.
