Yea I mean a guy who was part of 3 failed coaching staffs, who spends more time with the players than any othercoach, who has literally no background in the field----lets keep THAT guy.

So Golden was handcuffed by Swasey.

Golden was a moron corch who retained Swasey bc he doesn't know anything about running a championship program.

But Swasey was the real problem. Golden's management and schemes were solid. He just didn't have any strong guys to work with because of Swasey.

So it's not possible that they were both bad?

What was his excuse under Randy? Under Coker? It's always everyone else holding Swasey back right?

You once again are failing to see that it's not black and white. That it is more than probable that Swasey, like Dono, and Corley, and Randy, and Nix, and on and on is a below average coach who contributed to being terrible on the field.

Considering he's been here for the longest period of ineptitude at UM since the 1970s, I think it is more than prudent to replace him.

But we have consistently been sending out kids to the NFL combine and they have been right there with everyone else...

Im sorry but you can have all the speed and strength (like we usually do over our opponent) but when you play a scheme that dosent allow your players to play fast and effective you get kids second guessing and late on their assignments
