Yea but no more hidden gems it's more rare now, in that time recruiting wasn't as big and guys would go unnoticed. Now guys don't go unnoticed they want that exposure and now we can't hide them and sign them. This is 2014 not 1990 man times change, you guys think cause it worked then it works now that's bs.

Sean T would have a mansion right now if he was a jr in HS. The SEC would build Ray Lewis a statue and he would be off to Bama. I, just saying it's a way different time and we will not be the dominant program we all want without those guys IMO. Patrick Peterson in 1990 is a Cane.

No, the difference for Miami in a 9-4 season and a title contender is a better coaching staff. For Miami to be elite, Miami needs better coaching.

Plus, the whole notion that Miami won because of having a roster of mainly South Florida players is a myth. Go look at the 2001 roster, as one example, and see how many South Florida players were on that team compared with players from other areas of Florida and out of state.

The mopers know how to get Miami elite again?
