The Ole Miss Thread

could careless what some geek odds maker says. miami is the under dog once again and most will count them out again which is exactly how i want it. ole Pi$$ is the #6 seed and Miami squeaked in at 10...last team in so they are the true under dog like they have been the whole tourney.

Chambliss reminds me of Cam Ward! He is elusive but his eyes stays down the field looking for a big play! We are in trouble

Ole Miss kinda got the short end of the stick on the schedule. They wont get home til tomorrow around noon and will have to travel to Phoenix next Tuesday.

Half of the staff is pulling double duty working for lane and the transfer portal while still game planning. Hopefully their tank is reaching E.

Again- they will be fresh because they will only play 8-9 defensive series. Miami will control the line of scrimmage and chew up the clock. We are built exactly for this type of game. After two bruising games against physical teams ,I am glad we get ole ****.

This is a game Blount and lightfoot can impact whereas Georgia they likely would be overwhelmed at times by their size.

Ole Miss isn’t as physical so those kids along with scroggins can eat up some snaps during the game

This will be an interesting game.

1. We just got a ton of film to prepare for
2. Their defense is meh so we can push them back and run, run, run.
3. Their offense is lethal if you let the Trini man roll out so we can cover that as much as we can.
4. This might end up being a 34-24 game.

We could probably win this game without even throwing a pass.
That is how much disrespect I have for their run defense.
this is always a trap or has been for us. remember SMU had the worst pass rush in D1 or something and Louisville had the worst offensive line or something like that and we couldn't exploit either weakness. I know it's almost like a different season but I can't get away from the trauma.

This game is made for Mario ball. Run right at them all game long and then own the 4th quarter with 1-2 long, back breaking drives.
We will score points, but the problem is stopping a very good dual-threat QB

Biggest laugh though is on Kiffin. Ole Miss is in the semis. I don’t see LSU getting this far in the next two seasons so even if it ends up better in year 4 if he survives he just went backwards.

Have to stay in rushing lanes which neutralize 3 & 4 to a degree and they get the ball out fast. Time for heatherman to cook up something nice.

Scott will be key to blitzing along with fitz.

Maybe we get an answered prayer and Brown can play. Offense needs to dominate and control clock.

Any time ole miss subs Miami has to sub and take as long as possible like Georgia did.

Georgia got whipped last night when you think about it. They had a fake punt, all the calls and fumble for a TD and still lost,

This will be a great challenge but should be a fun one. Lace up your boots.
