The Official Visit

Thanks Shaq Dad! Appreciate the inside look, sounds like a nice precursor event to sending your son off to college in a couple weeks, just need the right DCoord now...
Lol it funny you say that...I'm so ancy...every time i was in conversation with Richt...the next question i had to hold back...Who is the next DC..He asked how is your steak..and i was almost like great..who is the next DC..lol i have to practice patience...He will make the right move...i trust him

do you know when the EE's will sign the LOI?

I ask the same thing this weekend and was told that their GIA will serve as their signing..For example if Pat comes in he signs a GIA not a NLI...EEs sometimes do the ceremonial signing with everyone else but its for show.

I'm probably young enough to be your son but just wanted to congratulate you on the job you have done with you son! I hope one day if God blesses me with a son that I can raise him to be as well-mannered and well-spoken like Shaq! Really rooting for him to have a great career at THEU and beyond......also was their any talk regarding the defensive coordinator of staff?

ahh okay. thanks for all your insight!!

Guys watch for jack Allison to be key with the Tampa area kids with Tyler Byrd as well...local guys always try to bring other local guys with them

Not to beat a dead horse, but thanks for the info. It's refreshing to hear what a person who was there has to say. For obvious reasons coaches don't talk, and the kids always say everything was great. Appreciate you letting us in on this and, more importantly, hanging in there with Miami through some rough times.

Thanks for all the detail. Great read. Sounds like these kids will lead the future very well. The LB trio is exciting. They act like a unit already. All the substitution the last years really crippled unit growth. Let's hope Mark lets players play.

Nice update, Papa Quarterman. The things I enjoyed most is that it sounds like the young men are forming a bond, which one would expect will translate to the field. The other positive was that everyone, including Coach Richt, was apparently impressed with the level of organization of the visit. Even if it serves as an orientation, having a cohesive, well organized presentation gives a much better vibe than if the production would have resembled a circus.

Am I the only one dying to know how Richt responded to the Florida question and what the responses were to the stopping the option questions? I respect that you want to keep some things private, just wish I could have been a fly on the wall.

It is encouraging that the players are asking those questions. It means they care and are eager to learn. I get the sense that this group has a higher football IQ than some hurricanes upperclassmen have had during the previous 5 years.

Thanks for always providing insight and info. Question: you think Bethel lands here?

IMO... he is a Cane... Fact... I will like and have nothing but well wishes for this kid where ever he goes.

Great post, as always. Thanks for all the info. Your post was very thorough and detailed but you didn't mention what cut of steak Richt had, you can tell a lot about a man by his steak cut :chuncky:

EDIT: Also I need to know the Florida response as well :bobross:
