Save the D$ bs… Ahmmon Richards and everybody else that have seen Lofton in spring and fall have all given him the same level of praise.

He’s more talented than a fullback.. and he blocked just fine against Stanford, if he played down to the comp against FAMU I’m sure the coaches are on him about it and we’ll see how he looks against Wake.

Lofton has looked good to me in these 2 games. Much better blocking than last season for sure.

Riley Williams, Lofton and Mueller are not bums coming out of highschool.

Two appear to be bad evals but the narrative we are recruiting bums at TE is a lie. No need to feed it.

Who said they were bums? So now it’s either they’re elite or they’re bums? There can be an in between. Lofton was 181 on 247, Williams 151, and Mueller 130. None of them were amongst the top 5 TEs in the country coming out. None of that screams elite. They were good prospects coming out but not elite.

Again to my point, we don’t really know how good any of them are because Dawson doesn’t target TEs. Why would he use Lofton as a Swiss Army knife out there when there are 5-6 guys at WR who are all more explosive than he is? Same with Mueller.

And to the original point that we need to bring in “elite” guys like Dollar. My point was an “elite” TE (top 3 type guy) isn’t going to come here because they’re not gonna see the ball. So don’t waste the time or resources trying to land one. Go out, get a couple big inline blockers each year and develop them into being a 6th OL who can catch the occasional pass.

We all need to speak the same language, oh wait, that's why instead of elite we can say "five star." A four star isn't elite, they're a blue chip though.

I'm not dying on this silly hill. The idea Mario is knowingly neglecting the TE position is absurd.

One was the 7th the othe 8th and I didnt look up Mueller.

We just posted the most yards in the history of Miami by 100+ from the previous all time high.
