Dude is a straight baller!

He puts the ball on the friggin money. He doesn't get rattled when the pocket collapses.

Poise. Accuracy. Cannon arm. He's great under center too!

I can't say enough good things about this guy.

Yeah he improved from what he showed at Clemson; great to know what we have behind brad kaaya

Kid look a lot better than I expected. I am no expert but his throwing motion looked smooth. First start, away Night game, ranked opponent, bought off refs, The Long Walk, none seemed to phase him at all. I think kid has game. I don't like Coley as OC but boy can pick QBs.

20-29 69% 2 TD's 1 Int W/L 1-0

Not a bad debut as a starter. I don't know how many Canes had that good of game in their first start.

He played well. However, unlike Kaaya, Malik made a lot of throws that scared the crap out of me. I know it was his first start and that he has basically never played before, but we need Kaaya back if we want to have a chance to win out. He played well and should be proud of himself though, but he is not a pocket passer and we should have let him run more to make him more comfortable!

I dont think comfort was an issue as he seemed pretty aware as he knew when he had a free play to quickly get the ball down the field and if he was uncomfortable he wouldnt have done that.

The young man caught **** for his performance a week prior. People thinking he should have came in down by 28 points early in the 2nd and gone John Elway on Clemson. When Rosier could still see Kaaya:6e482c_o: on the field and the entire team already gave up.....please.

He **** sure played well last week and only can improve with more reps. Definitely will give the next staff an option in what direction they want to go with the offense.

I like how he isn't scared to air it out instead of all the weak dink and dunk bs for 3 yards on a 3rd and long

/ shots fired

He played good but if kaaya can play he will whether you like it or not. People in this thread are hilarious, canes fans so quick to bash our star players. It makes me sick.

Kid made some $$ throws last week.. A little more time in there and he could be getting paid in a few years

I think the 3rd down eff was above 50%, had a whole lot to games outcome...
Playcalling was better last week for sure outside of that last drive where they gave Duke the ball back. We have been improving on 3rd % every game since we played Fsu outside of Clemson. The key is getting 6, 7, or 8 yards at least on 1st down which makes every other down easier to convert
