I generally save my vitriol for our coaching staff for the gameday threads (just don't have the tenacity to keep it up all week long like some of you) but it's generic, pussified quotes like this that give me no hope for the future of the program under this staff:
"[But] I didn't think it was too big for them. We are growing up. There are a lot of teams not playing these games. We played it and we came out of it healthy and have a chance to learn a lot and ignore everything else." -Golden after last night's game
C'mon man. Are we really still "growing up" and applauding the fact that the game was not "too big for them" 4+ years in? I am so sick of Al trying to make it seem like this is still a young team still working to meet it's full potential. He's been here since late 2010. These excuses, this late in his tenure, are ridiculous and sad. We can do so much better..
