Anyone can go back to my posts, and see I clearly stated Richt was not the guy.

Got jumped, so I shut up for a while - until we started playing. I immediately started pointing out ****poor playcalling - once again - got jumped.

I was right. I'm always right.

Fire Richt, hire Butch - and let's get back to some serious-as-a-freight-train-wreck - FOOTBALL!

Developed players - no excuses - guys playing their asses off - well coached - enthusiastic - fun to watch - kickass teams!

Dabo had trouble getting out of the gate, and he didn't have a 31 scholarship reduction to crash manpower within his first two years - which then bled over for another couple years.

In 2000, just outside of the effects of the scholarship reductions - how did Butch do that year?

How did HIS team under Clappy do the next year? And the year after that?

Butch gets the foundation right - talent, and then develops that talent.

Did the same while building up the 4-8 UNC program - but with much less talent - but managed to beat UM's butts.

Looks like he's doing the same thing at FIU.

Ok, whatever. Butch put together the greatest team ever to play college football the 2001 canes. Yes, he left before they won the NC, so Coker gets the credit. Fast forward to FIU and he's got a team playing really well.

I've been a Babers fan, but everyone should start rethinking Butch

Botch had a bad *** squad by 2000. Dude those probation years were really rough and look what he built. You young guys have zero idea of how bad our depth was and how many Freshman had to play.
 
UAB is 9-2 and undefeated in Conference USA. For the second season Butch is being outdone in Conference USA but we’re not choosing the guys outperforming him?

UAB didn’t even have a football team two years ago!
