Yes it still has a long way to go. We still go through multiple drives a game where the play calling is bad. But they are improving. Our receivers dropped TWO touchdown passes!! And Kosi over threw two more. Obviously we still have a long way to go. Enos needs to evolve more to our roster and what he has to work with. Even though the scoreboard didnt reflect it, they played more clean and more sound against Virginia. If we catch the two dropped TD passes that game is a blowout. The improvement is small but its there. Im holding out hope that we keep moving in the right direction.

Took my 6 year old son to his first canes game last night. He's hooked for life Go canes!

It's better than last year by a huge margin, but still a lot of work to do.

That was a really physical game last night and Virginia has a tough defense, but we left a ton of points on the field.

No it isnt. We had 250 yards of total offense last night. That would be last in the nation.

We had a ton of overthrows and drops that were not the fault of play calling. They were there and the players didn't execute.

Regardless, you should be more worried about finding a new place to live since you bet the house on UVA because they were going to LOL win by a landslide.

There's things to clean up on offense for sure. The stretch zone runs where DJ was getting caught from the backside have to happen quicker. The running back has to know as well to pick a lane make a cut and get north and south. Things like that are players that need coaches up.

And Will Mallory should not be on the field on running plays. We ran behind him twice, why I have no idea, but both times he got blowed up. One time he got blown up by a DB.

I dreamed of failed jet sweeps inside the 10 all night.

God no

they were a complete abortion for 3 full quarters...

Those late 2 4th quarter drives that actually netted points and ultimately won us the game will not be duplicated because PENOS will continue to pretend we are a power I formation team with slow developing play action and leaving Zion on island blocks

The 3rd down, redzone and short yardage playcalling was somewhere between abysmal and baffling. Enos has a really hard time establishing something that works and sticking with it I have been a fan of him so far, but this last game was ugly. No reason for DJ only having 13 carries, or Brevin been ignored untill the 4Q,

At the same time if Pope, Kj and Perry do better in 3 plays we may have blown UVA out, so there's hope just need fine tunning.

Lol if they score in the redzone they beat us by 30. The same way you say if we completed those passes.

This offense has great designs but really needs a mediocre+ running game to allow them to work. We don't have a mediocre running game with this line. Donaldson is now a joke at his current weight.

I don't think we should panic. I am not a believer in desperately adapting to personnel. Understand what you want to do and understand normalcy. There is no reason the University of Miami should field an offensive line of this caliber. Keep the offensive schemes as you want them, which will allow recruits to see how everything unfolds. Then once normalcy restores and the offensive line is competent the results will follow.

In watching that game last night the aspect that dominated above anything else was how far superior Miami's offensive concepts were compared to Virginia's concepts. When they got inside the 10 yard line first and goal it seemed like it would require a fluke play to score. When we got inside the 10 there were any number of permutations to a touchdown.
