Maybe he’s birthing an OC….
I think you're onto something.

I don’t get how some people can discredit what he did there. Especially looking at their offenses all the way back to Les Miles. It was literally a joke around cfb. No matter how talented they were it was meh , caveman ball. Then Brady arrived.
Ain’t it funny how Steve Ensminger’s name never comes up by any team for any OC search the last 4 years...

Like not once ever lol

The same people over exaggerating Brady’s impact on the 2019 lsu team would be the first to say he shouldn’t have been hired if Mario did snag him .

Just another day in the life of CIS

im so done, my entire comment went so far over your head...

nothing in their past pointed to them being supreme talents. urban meyer literally told burrow he throws like a girl. burrow then demonstrated his talent playing in an elite scheme that Cincinnati also uses. match made in heaven.

imagine tripling a personnel's production in almost everything and people say you aren't special and it was all the personnel and not the guy who installed a new scheme. un****ingreal.

An argument can't be used that LSU was playing outdated offensive football for a decade and then say simply throwing Joe Brady in the mix made those players elite. Perhaps they were already really good and being bogged down by a system that no one could thrive in? They weren't the first LSU offensive players to underperform. Brady brings competency and teamed with future NFL all-pros and you've got a historic year.

The suggestion that Joe Brady's one year around the players made them great is asinine. Specifically when those players continue to be great away from him. Justin Jefferson isn't playing in this alleged elite system in the NFL either and he's just fine. The Bengals system got criticized plenty for being too deep ball dependent. They had to change things this year as teams adjusted. Burrow was the reason those adjustments worked.

And that's the point. LSU absolutely sucked on offense. Outdated scheme coupled with poor playcalling. And it went well beyond Ensminger. Who knows what Burrow, Chase, Jefferson and the rest would've been like in 2018 with a competent scheme. But the conversation is like Joe Brady is the only one who could've saved LSU from themselves. You're the one with all the names. How many guys do you think could've gone in there and lit up the scoreboard with the talent on that 2019 team?
