Going forward - lets be careful on what we believe

Head Coach Search
- "Mario's job if he wants it" ... he was never contacted
- "We have reached out to Butch" ..... Nope
- "Rex Ryan wants the job" .... would probably take a HS job

Assistants
- "Many too close to Thomas Brown to fire him" .... wrong
- "Richt only retired bc there was an agreement to keep his Son"...... doesn't seem to be the case

I am more concerned about the lies being disseminated by coaches (Mark Richt), the AD (James), and the BOT or those the media gets their information from. These aren't message board rumors either.

Mark Richt said there would be a national search for a DC. Moved Banda and Patke into that role within 24 hours of making that statement.
BOT member, through Barry Jackson, says they have legit money to spend on a DC and OC on separate occasions.
Blake James says both he and Richt are on the same page and there will be a few changes made...Richt retires less than 24 hours later.
Blake James says a national search is going to go down for a new Head Coach. Manny Diaz is named coach within 8 hours.

All stated to the media, published, all lies.

you dont know what you are talking about. mannys the coach. is what it is. shut up and move on.

I heard that Ryan wanted the job of carrying the personal items of the offensive staff from their respective desk, once they were told to leave the building.

Agreed most of thiese rumors are coming from media. Barry Jackson was also the one who tweeted that Mario was the top candidate and first to be contacted.

Barry is just reporting what he is hearing.

I know a lot of people don't like Barry...I'm neither for him or against him...but one thing I know, he's a long time journalist in this market. He's not just coming up with nonsense to publish. He's hearing information from somebody. And he's stated that it was a BOT member that was giving him some of the information in November/Early December.

Mark Richt lying. Blake James lying.

idk what this program thinks its doing, but I don't like it. Too much not giving a fvck of what they say.

he swept the offices when they left and change the garbage bins, legend has it that he found so many scuffs on the desk that were from shoes. We discovered alot of coaches sat on there *** and did nothing with there legs on the desk. ehem Rumph

Agreed my point was more geared to that these rumors aren’t being started on the board.
 
This was a very innocuous thread a year ago.

I think this needs another bump.

You all need to know what you're dealing with.
