The Non-Race-Based Braxton Berrios Thread

An important question is, do you guys think he'd be rated lower if he were black?

He would never start here imo if we get Langham, Gray, Dixon/Lane/Brady and that is not counting the loaded WR class from next year.

You can't compare all of those propspects because Berrios is a slot WR, where as Lane, Brady, Langham, and Gray are outside WR. Berrios will be a welcome commit.

4.52 40 and a 3.81 shuttle fastest of any wide receiver in the class I think he will find the field.

All of them can play the slot, its not like the slot is reserved for short white guys. Gray has been compared to Boldin who plays alot slot WR with Ravens and looks like with 49ers. Herb plays the slot. Gray/Dixon can play the slot.

The WR position is coming down to the wire...

Brady is now looking at UM heavily...but I know the staff is seeing if they can even get him in or if he is a sign and place
Dixon has to be looking at Miami
T. Rudolph has his eyes on Miami I don't care what the message boards say
Lane is still being heavily recruited...

Gray is in but is he a WR or S
Langham is in but will he stick if Miami gets commits from others

*THIS IS A GOOD PROBLEM TO HAVE...
If Berrios commits to us its a win - win...he is an early enrollee any way
if he doesn't it means UM has its sites on bigger fish

Either way we keep balling and winning...these type of situations are what
make recruiting fun....and I am glad to be on this side of recruiting versus
the other side when we were fighting for 2* recruits that just flat out didn't
have it...

I would love to be in the war room with our staff this is gonna get even more
fun if we keep ballin...kids are taking notice....and they want to get on board.

I notice we have a lot of higher ranked kids visiting in November and December
and then the "B" options coming in January...goes to show if they get a good feeling
on these higher ranked kids they will cancel visits in January and February...

KEEP WINNING ...MO' MONEY MO PROBLEMS...MO WINNING MO PROBLEMS (GOOD ONES THAT IS)

I spoke to a family member of his, random connection, today. Miami is in good shape. It is down to Miami, SC, and Tenessee. He was blown away by Tennesee, but everyone still feels he is picking Miami. His dads family is all from Miami and he feels he fits in better down here. Nothing is for sure, but based on talking to the person I got sense it's around 60-70 percent chance Miami.

Lane would never start here either w/ those guys sooooo????......

Berrios can create separation on short routes better then anybody, he will be just as dangerous of a redzone threat as a 6'6" Derrick Griffin.

Ala Wes Welker in the redzone, cant be stopped even when you know its going to him.
