If the big boosters are in an uproar, it's more than possible Golden is out. It all hinges on that. How can ANYBODY not call this season an abject failure?? I really think the the big money will want him gone.

The real danger isn't next years record. There's talent on the roster right now. Keep Golden another year, and both the 2015 and 2016 classes fall apart. Recruits will obviously sniff out the rotting flesh on the live carcass, and avoid UM like the plague, and then whoever does take over will have to completely rebuild. Fire the man this weekend, and the program can move on and the new guy has something to work with.
