So, I never played football - but if in some alternate universe I was named Head Coach - and money wasn't really a problem - I'd hire the most successful, wide-open, clever, creative OC there was - even if I had to peel off part of my salary - and find the toughest, brightest, most clever DC there was - and same-same on the money.

The only way I could s crew that up - is to insist on a three or four play - playbook. Three out of four plays to be run between the Guards.

And the other way would be to puke out the team on gameday before we hit the field - and we can't get going until the second half. Might as well skip the first half.

Ho Li Crap! Watching UM football is like watching a dog return to his same old puke.

I remember when many said UM would never fire Randy Shannon. Well guess what? He was fired at the locker room door after the USF loss so never say never.

College football is BIG business and you’re either in or you’re out. Shuffling along with 7-10 win seasons won’t sell tickets so the clock is ticking on UM/boosters who are providing this high paid embarrassing **** show that reflects on the whole U. When the HC doesn't know what to do on game day & the team averages 60+ yds penalties every game things MUST change.

60+? Try 90+. We are routinely one of the most undisciplined teams in CFB. And the talent gap isn’t wide enough to overcome it.

I am one of the broke 95% non-alums on a message board that is disappointed. You do realize Hard Rock would be empty without us broke individuals. Since money appears to be the issue, I have contributed thousands of dollars for season tickets every year since 1993 to this program. No broke people, no football program. Oh, I completed 1 class at UM and have a certificate of completion. The arrogance is the reason we are in this mess.

This is what should happen, but I know it is not realistic: Media should not attend anymore press conferences. Apathy is very powerful.

Mario isn't going to "adapt" nor "evolve". The word is overused, but there's no doubt in my mind that Mario has undiagnosed Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Narcissists don't change because changing would be admitting that whatever they're doing isn't working, and that's untenable.

Mario thinks he's the smartest ******* person in the state of FL. He'll continue to broball, and he'll to blame players/coordinator. He says the same **** after every loss, and never once has he taken accountability for anything. I thought OR fans were just being bitter exes, but everything they said about Mario is true.

The big boy boosters love him, though. So unless he literally croaks or becomes a vegetable, he's not going anywhere.

As I lay in bed, depressed and doom scrolling, this is the thought that keeps playing over and over in my head.

With an innovative coach, we had a chance for a natty this year.

Instead, we are eliminated in early November. Again.
