The Nail in the Coffin is When....

Do you all even follow college football?

LSU has perennial top-5 recruiting classes and the nation's best defensive coordinator.

LSU starting the season ranked #25 was comical, and not based on how good the team is relative to everyone else, but rather a projection of w/l record of the team with the nation's toughest schedule.

Anyone who has been paying close enough attention to place an intelligent wager knew LSU was at worst a top-12/15 team at worst based on the defense alone.

LSU's defense makes pretty much every offense look inept. Don't take it personally. The media built you up while simultaneously underrating your opponent. It's natural to be upset given the expectations. However once the emotion subsides you should be able to see that expectations were never realistic and thay this was the easist play of any game this week.

Those who follow college football expected this result. Just saying...
Suck a fat one, I wasn’t talking to you and my comments had zero to do with the media’s coverage of this match up. I’m talking about my team, with our fans, and about our offense and what we need to do regardless of who we play or what the opponent did. **** y’all Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M, Bama and Georgia are gonna spank y’all. That QB Burrow is horrible and this season has at least 5 losses coming and u know it.

What makes me you think any of those guys are better than Rosier?
If they aren’t technically (accuracy, feet, release, etc.) better, we have such deep problems with evaluations and development that I’m not sure it will ever matter.

I’m at a loss for why we didn’t put at least one of the backups in a scenario tonight - especially once we were down 30-3.

Bingo.

If Burrow is terrible then your QBs must be dog**** if that guy Rozier is who your coach thought gave you the best chance to win.

I agree he is dog ****. Y’all about to get dragged for the rest of the season tho and that’s a fact. Your D is good but Burrow is a ****** like Rosier.

Bruh, relax. I'm not even trolling.

I'm not even trying to rub it in. I was just sharing my opinion about a topic about which if you assume I'm not lying, I was right in projecting how the game would play out.

I even said, don't take it personally. There's no point, and besides, you're being defensive where I'm not even being critical.

You called LSU an "average team" in your original post. Those are your words, not mine. If yesterday was any indication, LSU is well above-average, is far better than their preseason ranking, and is a lot better than most casual fans think because of the near-concensus that LSU was a 5-7 (worst case) to 8-4 (best case) team whose #25 ranking seemed about right.

All I'm saying is that your team, the Miami Hurricanes, are a far better team than they appeared to be against LSU if the LSU game is looked at in a vacuum, as season-openers tend to be viewed.

😂😂🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ where did I call LSU, “an average team”? U are confusing me with someone else because I never y’all about other teams just these Canes. I don’t need to bring LSU up in order to prove any points. Re-read the thread, I was critiquing Miami’s offense, not yours. U must be drunk.

I must be confusing you with someone else. If that's the case my apologies. Still getting acclimated to this forum.

I thought about this. The best I could come up with was we didn't wanna throw an inexperienced QB into the sharks down big on that stage. CMR needs to make a move now. I think he's sticking with Malik because he gave him a "drop to your knees & praise the lord" moment vs FSU last year. We might actually be fùcked until Rosier's gone. It sucks, because Malik doesn't have what it takes as a D1 starting QB & looks like he could give less of a fùck about it. My seat was near midfield, I'm telling you guys...the team doesn't have his back. No interaction on the sidelines with his team, his shoulder pad was out an entire series nobody cared to let him know or help him out, visibly frustrated reactions from the receivers after every missed throw.

Richt will lose this team if he doesn't make a change. If he doesn't, we can only hope our best players stick around considering the new transfer rules.

This is bull****. Team is way too talented for this. What else would a preseason #8 ranking tell you when the ones doing the ranking have seen Rosier shìt the bed before?

Because Dudley Doo Right suspended the most ready one.

The ******* ref came over and fixed his pad for him lol. He has lost the team lol. Richt has lost control of the locker room AGAIN!

Richt and Rosy are peas in a pod. Nice guys with low energy and no fire. Neither is/was a leader or decent QB

This program has been run like this since clappy. Coker favored seniors they said. Then randy played favorites. Then gluten something or other. Now Richt.

When winning big isn’t the benchmark, lots of things become confused.

I don't think it's to that point yet. If he doesn't make changes after last night, who knows. Have to feel for the WRs & a guy like Brevin, who got wide open more than once for what could have been game defining plays in his first game at the U but never had a chance at the balls thrown his way.

LSU is average and Miami is below average. The records will speak for themselves as the season plays out. Miami dug their own grave with penalties and bad QB play. Rosier brought the whole team down. With bad OL and QB play, I’m still not sure if LSU’s D is as strong as advertised. We had plenty of open receivers, just nobody to get them the ball. If LSU is competitive with Auburn or Alabama, don’t have to win just be competitive, then maybe they are an above average team.

Uh no. Don't get me wrong you guys got us. We thought our QB was ready and we were 100% wrong. But you guys aren't some world beaters. Nearly every talking head and all the major sports books had Miami winning this game. There's a reason we were the favorites. What no one factored in was just how inaccurate Rosier still was. We all believed he had improved, and we were wrong. That being said, LSU wasn't all that impressive save for your defensive line. Our receivers were getting open and there was room to run, but we just didn't have a QB that could take advantage.

Any team that gets a lead on you is going to cause you some major problems. You still don't know what you have at QB, and frankly I wasn't all that impressed. Your QB looked poised and had great pre-snap management, I'll give him that, but nothing about him makes me think that he's any better than what you had at the position last year. May actually be worse since he can't scramble.

I'm not detracting from what you did to us, you clearly beat us, but let's not pretend that you guys are ready to run the SEC now.
