the coaches start coddling and protecting players who look like sh*t on the field. Other players take notice, and that’s how you lose a lockeroom. No team succeeds without player-to-player accountability. Richards was right to snap on Rosier, and Richt should have listened to the kids on the team who are desperate to win instead of the lethargic losers who look like they are going through the motions play after play. It’s guys like Jacquan Johnson and Richards who win you championships. They care so much about winning, they are willing to bi*ch out their friends to try and get them to play better.

So ya, f*ck that pus*y coddling sh*t! And, as for the players, either you lose fighting your butt off, or you should quit the team. I don’t want anybody playing for the Canes who lacks a winner’s mentality and is okay with getting trounced on national television by an average team.

If Richt doesn’t start Perry, Weldon, or Williams next week, the team will check out. I’ve played enough sports in my day to know kids play for coaches who are hungry to win, not ones that coddle those who suck di*k on the field. This will spiral out of control real bad if serious changes aren’t made starting on the plane ride home. Richt needs to cut these kids loose and let them do whatever behind the scenes to hold each other accountable. I’m praying it happens. Go Canes.

Oh, and another thing: Richt needs to start showing some passion on the sideline. Players feed off their coaches, and it seems like Richt rarely shows any emotion. That needs to change ASAP. He needs to get into the faces of players who aren’t doing their job. Challenge them, make them want to prove you wrong, be a master motivator. He’s not doing any of this. We haven’t had a coach like that since Butch and it shows.

I’m going to finally try to sleep — probably unsucessfully — but tomorrow is a new day. Let’s hope the coaching staff makes some serious changes all around. Love y’all, and Go Canes!

They can’t be any worse. If your receivers don’t believe in you, then how can you succeed? Clearly they have no faith in Malik. Time for a change.

Weldon was a lowly ranked guy, Perry has been **** in practice and Williams doesn’t know the offense.

They can be worse.

What makes me you think any of those guys are better than Rosier?
Easy answer: because the reasoning behind why Richt doesn’t play them doesn’t make sense. He says that they haven’t grasped/mastery or don’t have control of the concepts of his offense. But after viewing that offense it’s more than clear that the offense doesn’t require a cerebral component in order to command it. That offense is vanilla, amateurish, pedestrian and underwhelming. And therefore, the most physically gifted and skilled (strong armed, best runner, accurate etc) QB would and could do better than Rosier. And Richt has admitted that we have at least 2 QBs that are far more physically talented than Rosier is.

As already said, they couldn’t do any worse.

The nail in the coffin is when you start to believe that, because the ceiling for the program is once where it was, that it should be there again. Those who learn last learn hardest.

We know what Rosier is. He will not improve.

The three youngsters may have inexperience but we don’t know their ceiling.

Yeah I concur - it’s time to start Perry, Weldon, or the supposed talented Williams. One of them has to be better than a 42% passer. There is such a thing called tailoring your offense to the strengths of your QB, while masking his weaknesses. While I doubt it will be Perry because he can’t seem to stay out of Richt’s doghouse, perhaps Weldon or Williams can provide a spark. Throwing out Rosier to stampede Savannah St won’t prove sh*t. Now is the time to get a new QB out there and get him live game reps. Only then can we possibly be ready to take on FSU, Va Tech, and God forbid Clemson if we somehow through a miracle win the Coastal again

You sure about LSU being an "average team?"

Didn't we say that about Kirny Freeman?

All honesty though, I'm down for giving a freshman playing time. Let him learn now.

Do you all even follow college football?

LSU has perennial top-5 recruiting classes and the nation's best defensive coordinator.

LSU starting the season ranked #25 was comical, and not based on how good the team is relative to everyone else, but rather a projection of w/l record of the team with the nation's toughest schedule.

Anyone who has been paying close enough attention to place an intelligent wager knew LSU was at worst a top-12/15 team at worst based on the defense alone.

LSU's defense makes pretty much every offense look inept. Don't take it personally. The media built you up while simultaneously underrating your opponent. It's natural to be upset given the expectations. However once the emotion subsides you should be able to see that expectations were never realistic and thay this was the easist play of any game this week.

Those who follow college football expected this result. Just saying...

did you watch the Bama - Ville game ? Tide was way ahead and some kid got a stupid flag and when he came off the field, Saban made a beeline for his *** and chewed some ! Then the Tide players got in his grill when Saban was finished....thats
what championship coaches and teams do ! you made a great point with your post !

Above average, I guess. They’ll end the season with 9 wins probably, which is good. Don’t see them winning more than that. Not a lot of teams are gonna shoot themselves in foot like Miami did tonight. But credit where it’s due: you still kicked our asses.
