The Most Important 6 Weeks in the last Decade

What we have coming up on the schedule will define Al
- I think at best we go 2-4 (I predict 1-5) but more importantly is HOW WE LOOK
- The BOT seems to be ok when we lose but when we look bad in a loss - historically that is when they have pulled the trigger on the HC

I am not sure ONE player on FAU's D could start at Nebraska, Clemson, VaTech or FSU --- most couldn't start at Cincy or Duke
- And FAU's D put pressure on Brad all night AND they covered our WR's with ease

Over the next 6 weeks
- Teams will realize we cant go deep since we cant protect the QB AND we have no difference makers at WR
- They will deploy single coverage on the outside, cover the back out of the back field and shut down the run game
- Which means we will need to convert on 3rd down .... on bubble screens
- The D will be on the field all game and wear down ......not just Quarter to Quarter but week to week

Al Golden is Gone....... his only hope is a ton of injuries (which he will blame for being under 500) AND he signs a really talented class

All on point except for the last paragraph. Fraulden the Incompetent won't be here past December 1. Butch will bring in the next class.
 
Klam, you really think James and the BOT will can him 3 days after the season? They're the football equivalent of the Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight. God knows who they're bringing in next. Butch is such a no brainer, and they won't do it. Besides, if this gooveball somehow lucks into 6 wins and goes to a bowl, however unlikely, they won't can him. They invent reasons to keep the guy.
 
This team just won 2 of the 4 games I predicted we'd win. Looking at the horrible coaching I've seen so far, I have no idea WHO we beat for the other 2 wins. Maybe Cincy or Duke, but those teams have decent coaching. I think it's entirely possible we'll have a 2-10 season unless the coaching improves. They're ruining Kaaya as I feared, and sooner or later he's going to get hurt.
If Golden and his Happy Valley crowd don't get canned after this season, all hope of ever having a decent program is gone. The incompetence of the people who run this school just boggles the mind. It's ALWAYS been bad, but never this tone deaf and clueless.

IMHO, Fraulden the Incompetent won't make Thanksgiving. Just being conservative using December 1. If the buyout wasn't so large, he would have been cut last year. This BOT is cheap.

If the BOT keeps him, our recruiting class will be a disaster. Any verbal with options will bail. Butch's stature/history will allow him to bring in a great class. I'm trying to stay optimistic about Butch coming back.

What's the point of going to another bowl where Fraulden will embarrass us, again?

There's a lot of truth here.

We're dealing with retards of the highest order. They didn't see fit to fire this POS after he lost S E V E N games in his F O U R T H full year....I still say it's going to take something drastic for them to admit defeat and actually fire him. Root for every opponent...it's our only hope.

Al Golden will never be a HC at any Div. 1 school after this. Fortunately FOR HIM., the morons who run this miserable school have paid him enough money that it won't matter. These idiots have let him run our football program into the dirt. Just scares me that these bunglers will pick our next coach and they have a horrendous track record in picking coaches.
 
Honestly I think this is going to be the last season here for Al win or lose. If he loses more than 5 games he'll be fired and if he wins more than 7 games he'll leave for rutgers or illinois or kansas or something. The banners and the "noise" are already getting to him and he's probably facing one more for each home game. He's still got a couple of die hard fans left but it's pretty clear that most canes fans either hate him or are the types of canes fans who would support anyone who currentl held the position.

It will be interesting to see how the season plays out, and I wonder if the buyout on Al's contract is large enough to discourage other schools from wanting to sign him.

Al's already been defined. He's the definition of a loser. We don't need a 6 game stretch to figure out what he is. We've had 4 plus years already.

I'm not sure if I had one or two or 7 too many drinks but what I kept on seeing Friday night was that FAU constantly had two safeties deep thus not allowing deep passes. The few times I did see them creeping a safety up. Kaaya correctly threw the ball deep but was unable to make a completion. What I did see a lot was the inability of our receivers to make any type of separation.

All we can do is take it one week at a time.

This week the Canes have a game at home they can win. Hopefully they pull it out. Then we can worry about the next week and so on.

I'm done with this is the most important time for Golden ****, he sucks, nothing has shown any different throughout the first 2 games. IMO his times been up for 2 years. The only solace we may get after this stretch is the knowing that he's getting **** canned instead of just hoping.
