The most ****ed off woman in America is…….

As a person who hates traffic, I'd be coaching UWF.

1. Great coach and leader of men
2. Is the head coach of one of the most iconic NFL franchises
3. Gets paid 8 million a year
4. No coach who wins in the NFL takes a demotion to college football.
5. A black head coach leaving the NFL for college football would be “ethically” wrong and set a bad precedent for other NFL aspiring black coaches (hate that this is true).

She got no right to be mad though. He paying every single bill and for every single purchase she makes. You want to be the one making decisions put some bread on the table
Who said she is upset? The OP? It's true because he said so?

Yeah you can try to sell LA all you want but I wouldn't want to live there either.
Alot of people do. People complain about librul cities and taxes, yet they have the most population growth anually. It just doesn't match up. Of course some people like the slow living, but most people don't. They love having things at a finger tip and alot of things to do. Plus business opportunities and all.

Saban was a punk after how he left the Dolphins what are you talking about.

He was able to build a legacy that far outweighs that, but are you forgetting he left after two unsuccessful seasons after demanding to have huge control of the front office in order to bring him in.

Then he said, “I am not leaving to coach Alabama” as he hopped on a jet to Tuscaloosa lol
Your letting emotions get in the way.
I was ****ed off when he left the dolphins too.
People do this sht all the time in all fields.
He chose the smarter path for him.
Just like Coach K has at Duke.
Yes the nfl is at the top of the sport and he saw an easier and more comfortable path to success and wealth.
Tomlin can say hey I already proved myself on the greatest stage.
He can look in to take another challenge and make more money while doing it.
You think if he goes to the front office and says “hey I want to renegotiate my contract cause usc offered me 15 million a year” they’re just gonna say “ok call your lawyer well do it right now”.
Ohh and wait you have to pay off my house and give me 6 million to buy a new one. And how can I forget. Give me access to a private jet so me and the fam can go in trips.
We good?

I'm good with city life. Just not LA. I'll take the chongas of Miami anyday

Lol I know people take new jobs all the time and I support people doing what they want to do. It’s their life at the end of the day.

Just because people do **** all the time though doesn’t mean it is a respectable thing to do. Personally don’t mind as much that he took the Bama job and bailed on Miami I just think it’s weak to publicly state you aren’t taking that job and then immediately take the job afterwards.

I’m not perfect I’ve done **** that I’d take back but it is still a punk move to lie like that.

I don't get no.5 no explanation needed, because you can't give one that would make sense to me.

Any NFL coach that is currently employed and runs back to College football is a punk.

You're at the pinnacle of the game, dealing with professionals. You don't have to kiss the **** of entitled 17 year olds and rich boosters.
And Tomlin doesn't strike me as the ***-kissing type.

This thread was started partly cause of humor and just the ridiculous exploding of coaching salaries.
I thought with the money being thrown around it would funny to say what I said.

However, this whole country is full of people on the edge and ready to overreact

“He’s a punk if he goes back”
“So she’s mad cause op says she is”

Now it’s borderline about to turn into
a MERICA vs soy boy thread.

Everybody chill tf out man.
JFC.

But we should still make that call.

While i always said i thought Tomlin would kill it in college as a HC and recruiter, he seems like a guy who doesn't want to leave the NFL. Even if Pitt cuts him loose, he'll land on his feet elsewhere in the pro game.

Sidebar...that Lincoln Riley contract rumor is more than likely complete BS from a know nothing

In my opinion he is, yes.

Greatest College HC of all time (mainly thanks to the rules he's been allowed to break for 20 years), but will always be considered a failure because the NFL ran him off sharpish.

that's asinine. are the college coaches that never coached in the league at all failures as well? if urban goes back to college is he a failure?

The NFL hasn’t done a great job of hiring black NFL coaches (or other minorities) hence the Rooney rule. For one of the premier black NFL coaches to leave his post would be bad for aspiring black NFL coaches because the % is that Tomlin’s position would be filled by a white head coach.

There are only five minority HC in the NFL: Rivera, Flores, Tomlin, Culley, and Saleh. Ten teams have NEVER had a minority as a head coach. There are 32 teams in NFL. Numbers and trends say that if Tomlin resigned from Steelers to take a demotion (which college football would be a demotion), his position would more than likely be filled by a non-minority head coach. I think this is worded better than my previous post.
