The More You Know...About NC State

NC State played Tennessee first game and lost, barely beat UConn on the road 10-7, then played South Alabama and The Citadel at home. They literally haven't played a real team in a month. I think that's a big advantage for us. UM is already battle-tested.

lets temper our excitement this seems like a game we usually feel real confident about until....... well yeah you know the rest.

I'm not saying we blow them out or anything, but I was a non-believer against GT so now I'm chugging orange kool-aid like a ****.

thats what I mean we say **** we blow.. then we look good and win, TROLL JOB COMPLETE we are baited back in and with confidence high we are shoved off the cliff again.

Yep, then if we lose, people are saying I cant believe I fell for it, I should of never got sucked in, never again, fire everybody. You would think by now we have learned but its soo easy for some guys to jump right back to it. Heck the guy above even says he is drinking the kool aid and just irrational

NC State under coach O'Brien usually starts slow...usually around week six they start their winning streak. I think we win this one if we start off right. I predict a 30-23 win for Miami.

They didn't shred Tennessee's awful, awful Defense. UT's D line is worse than any I have ever seen, and I saw the Miami KSU game.

Another ACC team that would finish 13th or 14th in the SEC (depending on if they could beat both Vandy and Kentucky) and in the lower half at least of any other BCS conference.

3rd tier team, and we just have to start beating these types some day if we are ever getting out of the hole.

GREAT STUFF, BTW, Dan

I want McGee, Finnie, and Gunter pressing the **** out of dudes with Bush helping over the top. I want some ******* blitzes coming at Glennon. If we sit back in the "Who I Got?" zone while rushing 4, he will pick that **** apart.

Need some fans in the stands too. Get the team jacked, let them know working their asses off is being noticed and appreciated.

I don't worry about O'brien having had 3 weeks to prepare. We haven't put anything consistent enough on tape for them to have any idea what is coming.

Keep in mind. NC State has basically had three weeks to prepare for us. This will be a tough one. Hopefully we get some home field Heat and Humidity advantage. This has all the makings of a trap game.

I don't think having some three weeks to prepare for us is going to help NC State.

Which team do they prepare for? The one that threw only outside short stuff against BC? That ran pretty good that same game?

Do they prepare for the team that played Bethune? Slinging and running all over God's creation?

Or Georgia Tech - a very strong team, a well coached team that specialized in running?

I don't even know myself which defense will show up. Much less which offense!

I'm 'bout as confused as an infant in a ****y bar.

interesting that the last time we played them was in 08 after getting rolled by GT in the infamous hand warmer game AND they had Russel Wilson (at home)

that 08 Miami team is similar to this one in the youth movement at many spots BUT it is much different on the LOS and at QB and overall conditioning. think we win this one but really need to put together a full game effort. can't keep coming back late

This, I can't stand to watch a repeat of the BC game, where average receivers were wide open all game long.
