tried to tell the pumpers there were problems on the horizon, but we're shouted down with chants of, "5-1, 6-1, 7-1, 8-1". Inconsistent effort, lack of discipline, subpar talent/mis-utilization of talent (particularly at LB), weak schedule... Well now what pumpers? And before the all too predictable "you were rooting for this to happen" take - NO, informed observers were sounding the alarm while the blind mice took the cheese.
