The mopes sure are quiet

We’re also a chip shot and a batted pass from 5-2.

Those comparisons don’t matter. A vast majority of games come down to a handful of plays.
Alright… in your honest assessment. Has this team performed like a hypothetical 5-2 team? I say no.

Last night was great. A good 60 minute performance. Thats 1. We are 2-4 against D1 teams and that 1 last night looked good.

We are closer to a hypothetical 0-6 team against D1 teams being saved by a freshman kicker and a helmet.

We arent even mentioning how every team left touchdowns off the board multiple times due to drops that spared our defense.

We have to be better. Nothing about this team says hypothetical 5-2. Cant spin this.

I’m not spinning anything. I’m pointing out the slippery slope of the posters position.

We are what we are.

I would rather beat FSU than to fire Manny right before the end of the season. What is it, like a 2 week difference? Recruiting class saving is what got us 20 years of mediocrity. We have a transfer portal now.
I always want to beat fsu. I’ll keep manny for a couple more weeks for a dub against fsu lol

You might to talk to the guy who said "we aren't losing to Michigan State you loon".
Michigan state is better than fsu for sure. We lost to fiu and la tech in 2019, but we still beat the dog**** out of fsu. Manny has beaten fsu by a combined score of 79-20. Look more of the same this year.

What gives I was told Manny would be fired by now.

Newsflash he isn't getting fired until the season ends and if we win 7 games he won't be fired at all.

I'm not fan of Manny but welcome to ****. This is the reality.
7-5 won’t save his job. And we aren’t going 4-1 the rest of the season. Not because we do not have enough talent, but because our coaches are not good enough.

If only those previous games against FSU haf any bearing on this Nov's tilt.

Unfortunately they don't.

Nothing has changed. The team is still 3-4 with games vs pitt, vt, gt, fsu. They could easily lose all of those games or 3 of the 4.

They could easily win all of those games or just 3 of the 4.

This team is like all the past teams of the last decade and a half. There are no surefire wins. Every game is a question mark.

I would bet the farm though that if he wins 3 of 4 coming up, he gets another year. Say what you want, he would have a compelling argument with 4 of 5 wins to finish out the year and a bowl victory to top it off. No way he gets fired with that finish.

From what I was told, it was always going to be until after the FSU game before a decision was made.

Basically if he won that game they would give him the rest of the season, if we lost then that following Monday he would get canned...

Idk if that happens, but that’s what I was told from a good source before the UNC game.
So torn between taking an *** kicking from FSU and wanting better for this team by moving on. I am so conflicted.
