The mopes sure are quiet

Not really a mope. But we're 3 and ******* 4. And Manny still hasn't beaten UNC. No need to speak up. The record speaks for itself.
What is a mop? Someone who thinks our record is terrible, we don't pass the eye test and our coach doesn't know how to recruit and develop his own LB unit? Yeah a mop is a realist then.

Manny's situation is and always has been fluid.

No decision has been made on Manny's career because that chapter hasn't actually been written yet. Many of you have been convinced it will happen because you want it to happen really badly. The situation is still up in the air and the criteria for retaining Manny will most likely disappoint many of you.

You realize that it’s in FSU’s long term interest to throw the game in the Fourth Quarter, don’t you? Diaz is leeching recruits and those that don’t go to Tuscaloosa, Athens or Gainesville will end up in Trailerhassee.

Not that they’d actually do this, of course. But like Al Golden, the Noles want Diaz around as long as possible.
The gaytors aren’t the destination. They’ve got issues too.

Most of the time I would feel the same way, but this season idk, we’re consistently inconsistent & FSU is due for a revenge game vs with how bad we’ve been beating them for the last two years...

Not saying we lose, just saying FSU is playing much better now than they were to start the season & you can never bet on a Manny Diaz team to do what they’re supposed to do when they’re supposed to do it.
"you can never bet on a Manny Diaz team to do what they’re supposed to do when they’re supposed to do it."

nailed it!!!

You could’ve just listened to what I said all week. That probably would’ve kept you from making this thread and embarrassing your self.

Just because the mopes aren't out in full force, doesn't mean they don't exist.

I mean, Miami won...the young guys played well...you don't need to **** in everyone's Cheerios every week...the mopes have already won for a 5th consecutive coach...no need to argue about it every week. Enjoy the win.

"We love Coach Diaz," Van Dyke said. "We're going to keep fighting for him. We're going to keep fighting for each other. He's going to keep proving everyone wrong."
What gives I was told Manny would be fired by now.

Newsflash he isn't getting fired until the season ends and if we win 7 games he won't be fired at all.

I'm not fan of Manny but welcome to ****. This is the reality.

From what I was told, it was always going to be until after the FSU game before a decision was made.

Basically if he won that game they would give him the rest of the season, if we lost then that following Monday he would get canned...

Idk if that happens, but that’s what I was told from a good source before the UNC game.
If we lose to Pitt, we’d be 3-5 and 1-3 in the coastal, very likely eliminated from winning the division at that point. He wouldn’t get fired at that point? Man, I refuse to believe we’ve fallen far enough that 3-5 and eliminated from a horrible coastal division in year 3 is not fireable.

The ACC is a joke this year. If they give Manny too much slack, he’s going to go on a run and give them 100 reasons to not fire him this year. Even as bad as we’ve been, GT, FSU, VT, Duke are all winnable games. They should’ve fired him after the UNC game, that was the right time to do it. I hope they didn’t blow it.

We were a helmet falling off away from losing to NC State.

We had to rely on a freshman kicker to bail us out against App State.

...No words are needed.

We’re also a chip shot and a batted pass from 5-2.

Those comparisons don’t matter. A vast majority of games come down to a handful of plays.
