Good term.....we've been bad at these for a long time.

I'd also say any pass play in the redzone is a $$$ down too. I'll never forget when i first heard Elway use that term, Money Down

Canes Defense has allowed:
100% conversion 7 for 7 on 4th downs
25% conversion 13 for 53 on 3rd downs

We are paying some fool a million dollars to fix that.... go figure
 
Good offenses rarely get in 3rd down...they either get 1st downs in the 1st 2 downs, or when they do get in 3rd down, it's 3rd & manageable. It's true, look it up.

You're not wrong, it's apocrophyl. We need to be less predictable in short yardage and the OL needs to get some push.
