The media loves to hate Miami, part Deux

So we've gone from "Miami is irrelevant" to Cam won't win the Heisman because no one is watching Miami play due to lack of competition?!? Make it make sense.

I'm not disclosing where I read that, I'm not giving them the clicks.
They also went on to say that we have a cupcake schedule, but due to Mario, we'll lose one we shouldn't then lose to Clemson in the ACC championship.

While Mario obviously has the best team (by far) he finally has after three years in Miami, we have to admit that our schedule so far has proven to be pretty weak, and we have to admit that Mario without doubt has a history of losing easy games that Miami should have easily won. Granted, I agree that so far the Canes look terrific and nothing would please me more than seeing us be 13-0 when the playoffs begin. However I would have to think that it’s not a “given” by any stretch, and we have to see if we can look this good when we face tougher competition.

Heisman trophies are not determined by TV viewership.

If we stay undefeated, fans of teams that lose games will whine about our schedule and media will give them a voice. It happened in 2017, but it really didn't matter for those 10 games because it was all fun and the attention was great for the program. The only problem was that was a lucky but flawed team that got exposed. That shouldn't happen this year. The best scenario would be for Clemson to get their act together and make it a 12-0 vs 11-1 ACC Championship. I'm not counting on either though because seasons rarely go like they should on paper.

I’m honestly seeing the opposite. Once we get into the meat of schedule and keep up our play it will be amplified.
