Just a crazy conspiracy theory - I think the different uniform combos you saw all of the time with Oregon was to highlight Nike, and there likely was some type of pressure/encouragement in doing so. Just pure speculation from the outside.

Ain’t no speculation, it’s facts. Nike doesn’t make them all those uniform combinations out of the kindness of their hearts. And of course they ain’t got no choice but to wear all those combos

I stand corrected, we did wear green vs. Duke, but I can see why that was the last time last season wearing green.

I know this is a little out of the box, but I would love to wear the white helmets, black jersey tops, white pants.

on road, white helmets, white tops, and black pants.

IMHO:

Home - Classic white-orange-white and throw a couple of games in white-green-white (not a fan tbh).

Road - White-White-Orange/Green. All white for a game.

Alternate: All Black. One game only (if necessary).

Ditch the all-Orange and all-green uniforms. They sucks.

Hope Nike is listening

Really, that's kinda surprising because the home team needs permission from the visitor to wear an alternate(home vs away) jersey. Shocked Clemson would agree.
