so Im finishing the Mario Cristobal Show Episode 2.

What takes me aback is the way he talks about his opponents. You would think that Southern Miss was a College Football Playoff oppnenet.
Miami vs UGA. He talks about the coaching staff and players with the utmost respect. It almost makes you believe@that these cats are good. The focuson each opponent isthere.
And we saw that with BC they didnt come out flat, they were prepared and ready.

The other thing I noticed is how much football terminology Mario uses. Compared to past UM head coaches whose interviews were all cliches, man this dude is talking football formations, techniques, coverages and rattling everything off the top of his head. Finally he only lost ONE home game at Oregon👀👀👀. Was 22 or 23-1 in his time there.

He wants to dominate

That was clear when he sent that message to the team against BC

Can’t dominate if you don’t take every detail seriously. What a refreshing change
It's a Jimmy/ Saban mentality. That school of thought. Dude went on Joe Rose saying that the LB play was inconsistent and he was not satisfied with it. Has not sugar coated or made excuses one time when something is clearly ***. And although we improved in tackling today he jist said this:

The level of accountability is sky high. Dude can have the team play a perfect game and I bet he will find some made up bull**** to keep working and keep them motivated. I still cant believe I am alive
to see this at the University OF Miami.

I really enjoyed the leadership segment as well

These kids spend a lot of time away from the field and the coaches so it has to be from them as well

Also it’s shown itself in our recruiting already. It’s seems a very specific type of kid is what Mario is targeting

I would expect us to “miss” some really good local players if Mario doesn’t think they are a good fit (and if a kid doesn’t want Mario’s type of intensity)

Quite a few of our current commits I keep hearing the word “leader” when listening to them or people talking about them

Case in point: Why T2 will NEVER play a down for the Miami Hurricanes.
