The Malik Rosier Problem

Someone needs to do one of those Hitler shorts with him being mad at Richt for not benching Rosier.

Well apparently 2 of the 3 are dolts, and then there's Williams, who supposedly just hasn't been here long enough.

I say we roll with Williams and let him develop. I don't care that he's a freshman. If he becomes a superstar, it's not like he's staying for a senior season anyway. Get him out there. Play him, let's see that upside.

This is the perfect time to break in new QBs.

PS, how much you want to bet MR comes out against *Savannah State* and struggles? I bet he does. This might get ugly early Saturday.
I don’t care if Rosier completes every pass on Saturday. It’s Savanah State. He should get zero snaps, because the young QBs need the reps.

Rosier has played so poorly that our backup QBs can’t get any playing time. Why the **** is he still starting?

100% agreed. malik has proven that he can't carry momentum over between games anyway (unless the momentum is going towards progressively worse performances), so it's not like he has to get hot against some whipping boys to be ready for the rest of the schedule.

Richt has three other QBs to go to, but he keeps trotting Rosier out there knowing what he's going to get. I don't even want to analyze Malik at this point. He isn't a good quarterback and - as mentioned earlier - its on Richt for trotting him out there.

If this happens Mark Richt and co. will get boo'd.

An unlikely scenario of the Orange and Green sort. Start Rosier and play him for the 1st quarter. Then play either Perry or Weldon the entire second quarter. NO MATTER WHAT THE SCORE IS during the 1st half.

Second half, the same sequence. And let the 3rd QB play MOP UP in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter.

This. Everyone needs to stop blaming Rosier for being what he is. It is Richt's fault for not having a better option at QB in year 3. Simply unacceptable QB management.

Yep, it's akin to ripping on Knowles, Feagles, or the last guy on the bench (I admit, I'm guilty of this as well). They are just doing what anyone else would do - work hard and play if they're given the green light. This one is on coaches.

The only reason I want to see Perry, Weldon and possibly Williams this weekend is to understand why they have not been an option over the last 13 games. If they’re not, then I have no problem going back to Rosier and trying to win as many games as possible to salvage any semblance of a decent recruiting class and maybe even play for ACCCG. But, I’m starting to wonder if a winning QB is even on the roster if they can’t beat out Rosier.
I’m thinking the O Richt wants to run might not suit the QBs he has on the roster. At some point he needs to run an O that a QB can execute. Right now it seems Richt is trying to pound a square peg into a round hole, and it’s tiring.

This O has too many weapons to limit their potential with a QB that can’t get them the ball.

100%

The question is what is the real reason these coaches continue to trot out these scrubs.
