First, Toney EASILY could have had 300+ yards this game, Mensah could have thrown all 30 passes to Toney and have prob better numbers than he did. He torches his guy on this play and has a walk in TD. He doesnt get the ball, how many times do you see a player throw there hands up, jump up and down, or just have some body language that shows displeasure? Now maybe if it was an incompletion Toney shows that but instead?

Upshaw catches it, first down Miami and Toney is at the top of the screen by himself dancing and celebrating for Upshaw. We are lucky to have this cat.

Saw that and Toney would have walked in for a TD and instead he's happy that his guy made a first down. His personality and mental makeup is different from almost any player I have ever seen. And all while knowing how good he is.
The sideline reporter for the game said she asked Mail why he switched jersey numbers and his reply was that he is the the #1 WR so he should wear #1.

Much credit to his mom. She raised a really, really different young man. To be this mature at 18 years old is almost unheard of. It’s like a young Serena Williams winning majors as a teenager.

Inviting Jaxson Smith-Njigba to his WR camp, and then working with him (as well as gathering a who's who of SoFla WRs) to learn tells us just a bit of who the kid is. Mali isn't content with where he's at and constantly pushing himself to learn more.

That move at the goaline he was working on with JSN this summer.

Mali is that dude and we know he constantly put in the work with all the legendary wr coaches in area since he was young but maybe it was worded that way on purpose for hilarity but cmon that was jsn event and something he put together for those kids.

JJ is a great talent, and that's undeniable, but he's just another OSU WR. The next guy up will be said to be the next generational talent, and so on. He didn't make or break OSU season last year.

Toney is just on another level with his manipulation of a DB and route running. Forget what he can do in the wildcat or as a return man. People saying that are trying to discredit him as a WR when he can stand on his own and did this past weekend, becoming the National Player of the Week. No Toney, this team doesn't make it to the CFP. No Toney, and this team doesn't make it past the aTm.
 
He is very special. You know how Ryan Coleman Johnson Williams makes receiving the ball look hard? It looks like Mali is a magnet to the ball. Catching the ball isn’t even a part of the process. It’s incredible. The day he drops one will be weird. Very spoiled.

Also he’s going to see a lot of zone. There’s no shot another team tries the Stanford method. You just can’t stay in phase with him

Gotta love the people that say JJ did his work in one half…

…as if Mali didn’t 1) only play in 2.5 quarters AND 2) have higher numbers in the half than JJ.

The Fins would ruin him, unfortunately. I’m at the point where I don’t even want my favorite players to go to the Fins anymore. I want them to go to franchises that have their **** together.
