The leaders of this Team are not local kids.

Maybe I am missing the purpose of this thread. Does it really matter where a leader is from if he is a good leader. Over the years I have seen good leaders playing for the Canes that were local and others who where not local.

I think bandy will step up as a true leader now that he’s an upperclassman. All I had to see to know was him putting his arm around richt during one of our losses. Dislike richt all you want but that was a clear sign of leadership and being on his coach’s side no matter what.

The purpose of the thread is to sh*t on the South fla players who are on the team, because our fans don't like local players because they don't sign with Miami, even though they're basically sh*ttin on the local guys who DID sign with us lol

I get blasted by the local high school coaches every time I bring this up. A team full of South Florida kids in the year 2018 isn't going to win anything. You need out of state kids to provide the heart and leadership.

Local kids that were big time recruits have been going elsewhere the past 5 years or so. We nabbed a few top ranked kids but majority have gone elsewhere.

Because Miami is a destination. That's most of its appeal. We honestly need to push this more on cold state recruits and So Cal recruits that don't want to freeze or live in rural environments.
