The leaders of this Team are not local kids.

We have a lot of guys who might be leaders, they just don't utilize social media/twitter to recruit which is what we see. Obviously, with today's recruits they want to feel the love/followers/etc. so we see Brevin/DeeJay/Tate reaching out to guys so we automatically assume they are great leaders and they most likely are. The best way to be a leader is to work hard and produce on the field... something we need to see from some of our local guys.

Just think if Gurvan Hall, Al Blades, Frierson, DJ Ivey, Cam Davis, Mark Pope, etc. become household names... we will be cooking!

Interesting how all the leaders on this team are from out of the state or are not local kids(Jordan, Deejay, Shaq, Pinckney, Martell), looks like kids from other states and other towns love to play for the U more then local kids.

Take martell off this list. He just arrived. You have no clue what kind of leader he’ll be for this team.

Plus, you’re not in the locker room so how do you know who leads and who doesn’t?

AlO, Bandy seems to show leadership traits based on things said by coached

Was just about to say this. Guy was a **** of a leader from LSU country. Just because you aren't from South Florida doesn't mean you can't represent and lead just as hard.
Exactly. How about these leaders:
Bernie Kosar- Boardman Ohio
Steve Walsh- St Paul, MN
Gino Torretta- Pinole CA
Ken Dorsey- Orinda CA
These guys were true leaders on and off the field. Then you had guys like Barrow and Vilma and Tiger in the defense room, and that’s how you win NCs.
