It was entirely justified with all the **** that was being said about the team by Texas and virtually every sports media pundit prior to the game. The Canes richly deserved to rub all of their noses in it that day.

Rewatching that game recently, I don't actually agree. We were a bit sloppy at times, but we played with a lot of intensity. There were some minimal antics that could compare with how the game is played today.
