The last 4 games

We had a 4- game stretch during a 6-4 season where we beat up on two 5-5 Coastal teams, a mid-major, and played (like a few other teams) FSU close.

This is what passes as promise now at Miami? Man the bar lowering is reaching terrifying new depths.

10 yrs of mediocrity and no bowl wins. Yes, sad but this is the closest to Mia football in 10 yrs

Sorry we have beat 2 times since o4. That helps your argument a lot.

It helps the argument by discrediting your knowledge of the subject you are even talking about. Don't go back 10 years in your BS argument if you cant even remember (or look up) that we have beat them three times in the regular season (04, 07, 09). Looking back that far in terms of the teams we beat and their record over us is asinine anyway. Your lumping a Butch Davis UNC team in with Larry Fedora's team when both were quite different.

Appreciate you googling that info for me. And yea the team doesn't look any different the last 4 games.

Battered fan syndrome.

Here's reality: We have been really horrible for stretches over the past decade and decent at times. Just like this year.

Beating the horrific teams we did in our incredible 3 game win streak and then doing what NC State, Louisville, Oklahoma State, a down Clemson, and UVA did against fsu somehow has the clowns frolicking.

How about that mighty Nebraska team that Wisconsin just completely humiliated? Everyone still impressed with them? Is Wisconsin THAT much more talented than us? I watched that game, and Wisconsin destroyed them. Gordon could have hung 550 on them if Anderson didn't show mercy on Corchlini and pull him out before the 4th quarter.

That fact that it took 3.5 years to get these results of the last four games after setting some of the worst defensive and offensive records in UM history should be enough to look at this guy and say he is a terrible and passive coach. The second half of the FSU game solidified him as a coach that will never succeed at this level.
