The JoJo thread

Just look at mendozas WRs. If it comes anywhere near them they're attacking that ball. Big difference playmakers and guys that want it made for them.

Exactly. DBs were hanging on Indiana's WRs, and they just made catches. Or look at what Coleman (Auburn) did to make catches. Or the tiny guy on Cal, who had 16 catches.

WRs who are real men make real man catches and don't cry about a DB breaking on the ball and making incidental contact.

It's so funny what you choose to post. You obviously ignored the announcer pointing out that JoJo was "too slow coming out of the break".

But, yeah...pass interference...WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH....

For the record, it was PI/defensive holding ON A DIFFERENT PLAY...the one where the DB intercepted the pass...you are completely clueless, aren't you?
So good to have you back

I want Joe to be good as do many here and I also think he may have not been handled correctly by Miami as some of you do, but it also doesn’t mean that he hasn’t taken care of his **** and that we can’t be sick of the endless one way support all on his favor to the point of propaganda

Except that one. Dopey. So what is it, 10 out of 11?

Try watching football games someday. The very best WRs, the ones with the most talent, are able to absorb contact and STILL make the catch. The very best WRs do not need their uncles to go on message boards to make excuses for them.

That was one of the mildest forms of contact JoJo is ever going to receive. If he wants to make catches, he needs to anticipate that kind of stuff and shake it off.

Pussies making excuses for pussies. I've had enough.
Justin jefferson dropped a few the other week, wide open
Can go on and on about the best wrs in the nfl lmfao

Oh yeah....what position did he play again?

All these ******* excuses because JoJo got bumped in the back because he ran a lazy route that wasn't fast enough up the field or explosive enough on the cutback.

Yet we should pity him and forgive all his other drops too...
In this specific instance both can be true though. The route and effort could have been poor and ****ed the play from the jump, and he still could have got the DPI call since the defender got there early. Had the defender got there on time would Jojo even have caught it? Who knows. Clearly dude needs to stop with the 1handed catch bs in practice and spend more time at the jugs machine after practice instead of smoking or whatever dumb **** he's doing.

Santana Moss, Andre Johnson, Leonard Hankerson, Phillip Dorsett. Just a few of the stars who had huge problems with drops early in their time here.

Not saying this he is any of those players, but some of the comments I’m seeing on this thread about this kid are beyond ludicrous.

Good lord. You are comparing one of the best WRs in the NFL...to JoJo Trader...

If you can't see your delusions, you never will.

Toughen up, JoJo. If you are as good as certain porsters claim, that won't be the last time you get bumped in the back.

Make catches, JoJo. Earn trust. Win games.

The point you are missing is that you can't rely on the ref to bail you out.

Can I acknowledge that the contact had SOME IMPACT on JoJo? Of course, I'm not a moron like TouchMoney. But if JoJo runs a better route, or anticipates the contact, or is just rougher/tougher, then we never have to make this childish excuse for him.

And we never need a ref to erase JoJo's laziness and softness.

Maybe let him get his second touchdown of the season before you start mentioning these guys and Jojo in the same post.

He went through his back making contact before the ball arrived.

What a soft response. IT DIDN'T GET CALLED. It doesn't get called in at least half of the identical plays at both the college and NFL level.

I don't know what to tell you. A former NFL safety correctly called out the laziness of the WR, rather than the deviousness of the DB. Nobody on our sidelines protested, and we have had PLENTY of bad ref calls to protest this year.

Please, turn on the NFL games RIGHT NOW and you will see this exact same level of contact. Regularly.

Unlike a lot of fans who sit around me, I don't cry after every play that doesn't go Miami's way. And I can consult with a ref on speed dial whenever there is a questionable play.

Why are we begging a ref to save JoJo from his own laziness and softness?

TouchMoney and JoJo are as soft as Elliot Blitzer in "True Romance"...

You have my number. Consult me. Sounds like you are talking to a corrupt ACC ref 😬😜

The stadium and the sideline was not happy with the call.

That is hilarious, my friend.

However, if that play was a "10 out of 10 times" call, there would have been outrage, by the coaches and the announcers. I've watched god-knows-how-many NFL games now where they have the "rules experts" (former refs) available to weigh in on close calls, and these experts consistently comment on the range of physical contact the refs allow before they feel like a flag is warranted.

May not like it...learn to love it. That's just the way the game has gone in this more physical era.

If we want every bit of WR-DB contact called, the games will last an hour longer and we might as well call it a powder puff game.

I’m nominating you for special moderator/mediator/arbiter of this beef. I can tell you will be fair in approaching the facts - at least your intent will be good.

He's a sophomore, 9 games into his second season. He's not young anymore.

He's shown NOTHING at Miami. Poor off-field decisions, terrible route running, no discipline, no focus, bad hands.

He's not in line for an NIL deal at a high level program.

He's staring FAU in the face right now. Either he plays the next 3 games like his life is on trial, and gets his career off the ground, or he's likely done at Miami.
