I do like the shots we’ve taken because it keeps the defense honest which is one of the reasons we have those good runs. However we have to hit at least at a 50% clip when we do because that’s one of the reasons we’ve been in third and longs. Seems like Indiana gets those chunk plays.

It’s always something with our deep shots…the holding of our wrs or PI isn’t called or miscommunication between Beck and the Wrs. Or we don’t have a true receiver that can create that separation.

It is a made for TV story.. Mom is a former Cane athlete and now wheelchair bound due to MS.

Son grew on campus, playing at the rec. Wanted to walk-on the Canes team after high school but the previous staff wouldn't take him.

Dad played with Mario and our OL coach...
all sorts of Coral Gables connections...

I’m sure we’ll appeal but they’re not gonna do us any favors. We HAVE TO have at least 1 or OJ or Damari, and they need to be fully healthy. EOC and Antoine the entire half isn’t gonna work. Who even is the 3rd corner in? Ewald? In the natty against Sarratt, Cooper, and Becker? We can’t have that.

If OJ tweaked the same calf, he’s likely screwed. Those injuries don’t go away in 10 days when they’re so severe that you pop it twice in a week.

Damari….get right, man. We need him so bad.

Yep lean on em & by all means take some shots when you feel like it’s there if they start creeping up. I also like the idea getting Mali in space n seeing if they can make a play on the best phenom in the country.(not from the malicat that be wont work on this team they are too disciplined)The gameplan can be very simple but execution is going to be the difference, mistakes against Indiana are like death blows

Facing another” Team of Destiny “, another “best QB in CFB”, another story about “ Underdogs and Overachievers “, about a Hometown kid rejected by his Hometown team, returns to the scene of the “ Crime”. It’s the narrative that sells and the Magic that people want to believe in. Well Boys, we’ve wrecked a few Juggernauts destined for greatness and turned a couple of Fairytale stories into worst nightmares. So, Lace Up and Strap Up, and do what we do best. We’ll see how much of those chunk plays Indiana hits against us, if we are relatively healthy I believe our defense is good enough to hold them to 20 & under..not saying that will be the case but we have the talent/coaching to do it in my opinion.
 
I actually think we’d be better off spreading their defense and run on that

It would limit any exotics and I don’t think our little screens are going to work on a bunched field

We need to show something different but not sure we can actually do that

Miami has not shot and shouldn't show up

Why are we even playing this game, just give IU the trophy

I hope our guys hear this for the next 8-10 days. I hope they get told how the team they're facing is different and their coach is an all world genius. I hope they get told we have not chance, i hope we are laughed at and ridiculed all the way up to the game.

Then i hope we punch them in the mouth for 4 quarters. The teams they beat soundly really hand them the game on a platter. Make them earn every inch and make them scrap for every point. Dont hand them the game.
