Who wants to bet that the same douchebags that were feeding journalists what appears to be extremely false information about the search are now feeding those same people this nonsense about Manny being strung along. I wouldn't be shocked if Diaz Sr. is now trying to get his son some sympathy, now that he knows that he's lost the battle. If Manny Jr. had any heart, he would either demand to know his status(If he truly didn't by this point), or he would walk. There's a reason why he continues to stick around, knowing full well that the fanbase, the administrators and others don't want him around. He wants things to break down, so he can crawl back into the job. A man wouldn't live in limbo like this, they would demand answers.

There is no doubt we are weak on the D line and linebacker. I mean we need to get some players in, any which way we can, to just even be competitive on defense next year. Defense is going to be a struggle next year with the way we look up front. The OL might actually improve to average, though. That’s like the most unhomer take I can give you.
 
Any sane human beings getting paid in the millions would just continue to do their job as Manny is doing. In the grand scheme of things he is going to be just fine. He knows the business and the cut throat world before he ever stepped into it. Don't feel bad for him. Just thank him and wish him well. I can assure you he don't need or want sympathy.
 
I’m not a f the media type in general because most of you thst go down that road can’t see your own biases or homerism…. But that said…

manny may have been given a good soldier financial incentive (perhaps buyout higher than 12/1 would have called for)

he could have resigned if he didn’t like it. Or made it messy to try to resign but get his money. He didn’t.

And for the rest of you crying about this know what’s worse than this? 20 years of ****** football

that has been more of a bad look for Miami than a week of upheaval around massive institutional change. That is messy but short term.

Yea I agree with this. We need some work and it's a new regime I'm patient and want to see what they do on the trail.

Armando Salguero basically said in a tweet they’ve been negotiating Mannys buyout since November. So it’s not like he didn’t see this coming.

I’ll give him credit he’s doing his job still and handling it as a professional

Exactly…If Manny doesn’t know what has been going on he’s blind and dumb as fck.

No one ,with maybe the exception of Cribby..lol..cause he seems to know everything,knows exactly what Manny has been told and what he agreed to in the interim of a new coach being fired.He’s still under contract and until Mario or whomever signs a contract he’s STILL the HC.

Maybe he stayed in hopes of getting a job.Maybe he HAS a job with the new coach…WTF knows….
