They catch them as cubs in the wild and raise them...not sure I want to be the guy stalking a hyena den.

We had a guy in Loxahatchee, a few streets over, years ago, that played Tarzan way back in the day.
He had a couple pet lions and a pet tiger. He moved when they widened Okeechobee Blvd further into Loxahatchee Groves.
Years later, the tiger, as I recall, got loose and the cops shot him.
No one ever worried about it, because he had them completely tamed.

I have to admit I will root for the Lions in the animal shows when they battle hyenas. But it’s not my fault. The lions all have names and we see them with their cubs.
This hyena looks like a big dog!
