The Hoggs

For the umpteenth time, Butch didn't leave UNC in a mess. Butch had nothing to do with the problems there.

Butch was clean, and not one charge was made against Butch.

When your program is dirty, you fire the head coach hoping to get some leniency. For you pups, when UM was in such trouble, it was Butch who was hired to 'clean up and rebuild' our program.

Did a damned fine job too, and we can thank him for our fifth national championship, and sixth - except for a really sihtty interference call.

Butch, clean LOL, you cannot possibly believe that. Butch is and will always be shady.

Well someone cowboy up!

Name one NCAA allegation made against Butch. Not the program. Not the players - and agent payoffs. Not a rogue staff member - Blake. Not some alumni.

Name one allegation of NCAA violation ever specifically named against Butch.

No one accuses Shannon of contributing to the siht we find ourselves in right now, because Shannon didn't have any part in it. Same with Butch - or allegations against him would have been made. And they weren't.

NC waited five months to fire Butch, just in time to beg mercy from the NCAA.

Dirty my ***. Still - He's a very good coach, very good eye for talent, very good recruiter, and would do well in Arkansas.

Having no allegations against him just means Butch was slick enough to avoid having any evidence directly linked to him.
At the very least Butch turned a blind eye. If you think otherwise you are either extremely naive, or related to Butch. I'm wondering if it's the latter with how personally you seem to be taking this.

As for Shannon, no one seems to be accusing him of dealing with Shapiro, and he even gets given credit for supposedly trying to deter folks from Shapiro. However, only someone very naive would think Shannon had no knowledge of what his subordinates were doing. Why do you think Hurtt ended up in Louisville the way he did?
